Money can either be in an account that's in the name of the main applicant and/or the dependant 's name, or (for children only) the name of either parent.

No, you don't but you need to know what your options are. Fill in the address of where you expect that you'd be staying temporarily (for quarantine reasons) until you are able to make long-term accomodation arrangements.

Add an extra day to be on the safe side. July 15-Aug 13 which is 29 days will cover for any error in counting on your part.

I filled my details for form A with my bank (Stanbic) and i am yet to be debited. I have called and visited the bank but nothing yet

Dates I saw today are 27th August, 1st, 3rd,8th up till 15th September where I stopped checking.

Mine took 3 working days with same Stanbic Bank. I paid on the 29th of July, but was told it wouldn’t be treated that day, because they normally close treating form A by 12noon, so mine was moved to the next working day which was August 3rd because July 30th and 31st were public holidays. I was at TLC VI today, I got their around 6am but people who came around 7/8am got in before me. How? They told the entrance officers their intentions earlier than I did, because their is no writing down of names ... Those who were selected to come in where at the discretion of the entrance officers.
I eventually came in by 9:30am. I did my documentation and biometrics but by around 3:30pm the interviewers stopped... About 8 of us were still remaining to be interviewed for the day. We were told to come on Thursday.

Yes. The extra day is because I'm not sure if you started counting from the day the money got into your account or the the day after. If you started your count from the day after, Thursday is good but if otherwise, Friday is better.

I’ve never heard of U.K. universities asking for transcripts to be sent via post. Perhaps universities like oxford or havard idk.

I only know for universities in certain European countries but not U.K. You’re usually just required to upload all your documents on the application portal.

Except it’s a new one now.

It depends some Nigerian schools do give student copy (via email) so you don't keep spending on transcript if you want to apply to several schools.

Yes, as long as your account shows that you've held the funds for at least 28 days before your application, it's not a problem.
