This embassy issue has become sickening. The COVID-19 palava is only an added excuse to what the embassy has been doing.

The truth guys is that they are only trying to limit the number of people they admit into Germany. The last set of lucky students were those who left last Winter. Even at that time, appointment had become quite difficult and a lot of reasons can be adduced for this.

My only advice is that you keep sending mails and making those calls. But be aware that your mails will never get any response or reply. That's their modus operandi. As for having a protest, well, I wouldn't discourage, if you feel that will help your case. However, I don't know how you will pull that off successfully given the type of area the embassy is located. If you have ever been to the embassy then I'm sure you know what I am talking about.

Wish you all good luck, keep pushing. "Na condition make crayfish bend", if only Nigeria good, wetin all men go dey wan go abroad for?

God bless your sense of reasoning

So I decided to be simplify my enquiry. Not giving them any reason to think I was a student. And they replied with the speed of light. Albeit, the response doesn't really change anything. This proves they are avoiding enquiries from students. I suggest we be a bit crafty with our message to trick them into divulging their secret.

When you people will not read.

It's clearly stated on their website that visa booking via email will not be responded to.

They gave a list of enquiries they will treat

The fact is let's not deceive ourself, take it from me, processing is going on. Its just if you know who know them. While I was sitting the man at the desk was telling a security man that "next time if you bring anybody here, you'll attend to them yourself". That is they are attending to people, its just if you know people.

God help us to know people. You think if anybody was able to enter they won't process your visa? They will ofcos, people processing in Germany don't have issues. Its people in Nigeria that have issue. God help us all.

What I know is that, the embassy will chose when to start visa processes, they decide who gets the visa and when. Even with diplomatic passport, they can deny visa.

Are you guys aware that Nigerian Visa is one of the most difficult to get?

Embassy will not act on the fact that you have other means to fly (which are illegal). They will act based on the official information received from your government.

Since February, my friend just got passport for her daughter last week, just because of the situation.

You are righting Berlin while your own embassy in Berlin just start work fully.

Am not saying you guys should not protest o. I just pity the subsequent set.

So is German embassy we can protest against because they allow freedom. We can't talk about our own country issue that brought us this mess.

Just pray (and act where necessary) the committee work fast and open international airway before the end of the month and all will be fine.

Otherwise, nothing changed.

It so the Berlin that will give them go ahead when they are on the same page with Nigeria.

I heard uni assist dont return documents that are submitted to them. Are the documents to be sent electronically or I have to use a company like DHL?

That's why you send certified copies by post...

I agree with you.

But this is just normal. They have the Wright to control how many people enter their country from any country.

As bad as we think Nigeria is, they still deny people visa.

Is just like our educational institutions here in Nigeria. The more the people apply, the difficult the admission is. Sometimes UI will need 3 to 4k students and over 11k will score above 50 in Post UTME. That is why sometimes they use different yardsticks.

Let's just remain hopeful. I understand how most of all feel. No comment here is to discourage anyone, no one here will take what belongs to you. We are just trying to help ourselves.

It will end in praise

This info is totally wrong actually. You would know if you kept up with info regarding winter semester.

And also, you cannot defer admission in Germany. German policies do not allow the university to carry your application info over to another semester application period

Actually, you can. In some universities, admission offer is valid for 2 consecutive semesters so you can defer if you can't meet up with the present semester. I'm not aware of any German policy that prohibits deferring admission.

You are to upload the document on uniassist and then send certified copied of your documents by courier. This applies to most schools

Please may I have the consulate email address you used. Thank you.
Hemingway:
I appealed my VISA which was rejected saying I didn't have admission. That I only had admission for language. I have applied and gotten admission in another school.

I wrote the consulate telling them that I am withdrawing my appeal because of an issue in the family and I have admission with a confirmation of necessity to be present in Germany for the purpose of studies. That I need a new date for interview.

The Visa Section replied and told me to send a signed letter of withdrawal not later than 10th September 2020.

I think they gave me deadline because I told them that I have new admission

So if Nigerian embassy in Berlin just they open work fully then is it the policy of " reciprocity" they are holding on to just to reduce the numbers. God help us. Let international flight open maybe that's the change needed when it comes to the Nigerian situation.
