It's not about writing the team off completely. Their are stages in the development of a world class team, so when you know the stage your team is at currently, you won't over hype or underrate them. Right now in our development curve, we still need atleast two transfer windows to properly build a world class team and trust Ole to upgrade himself tactically too. The league isn't a cup competition were you can just shithouse your way to the final like Portugal did when they won Euro, it's a marathon that requires solid consistency which our team currently lacks.

Sancho's probability of flopping is very low. The odds favours him. Good on both wings, English boy, etc.

Rooney don wash since lvg. He was not the same Rooney we knew. He played deep. His game changed. As for Ibrahimovic I don't have anything to say to you. No serious team would have even used him as a starter then.

I know our team needs work but that doesn't stop us from winning the league or competing strongly in it next season.

Yes I truly commend OGS and the boys especially since Bruno came, we looked unplayable at times but you can't just but deny the fact that Brendan Rogers handed us that 3rd spot on a platter. Any other season and we won't be making that top 4 and even the boys looked drained and spent towards the end. Now whether they can really keep up the tempo for a long congested season is my fear seeing they nearly died over a short period of playing that scintillating football we all loved.

The thing burst my brain. I feel we have a decent squad. Our coach just need tweak his tactical approach. One thing going for Ole is his man management and idea of the kind of people he wants in his team.

I said prime deGea and not prime Rooney or Persie, but then those guys were still world beaters then and to some extent considered world class, so my point still stands.
I also agree we should have mounted a serious title challenge under Mou.
