I don't live in the USA but my money's on the fact that she was picked to get the money boys in Silicon Valley behind Biden. She's had close ties with them for years now. Also, perhaps for the influence that big tech can have on an election, though this last point is just speculation.

If Jimenez had converted the penalty it would have been a different story. 17 shots but only 5 were on target. That tells you they were not creating clear chances. No where near man, apart from the goal itself, and one other half chance. Those 5 shots on target were not clear cut chances man. But i'll take your point on facing facts. It would be better not to dwell on what could have happened, but I was using that in the context. They were just passing hte ball around for most of the game. They were not creating clear chances. Some of those shots were from headers which were good attempts but no where near going in. They were not creating chances in the final third. They were mostly unproductive. My point is, they better not do that against Man Utd. There's a lot of pace in that frontline, and there are two creative midfielders in Pogba and Bruno who can unleash them. Barbeque chicken. They will be making it far less competitive than we are expecting. So i guess they'll be more ocnservative for fear of being punished on the break.
