The guy had already prepared me on what to say at the door, so I would be allowed to get in. Not everybody gets in. Anyway, we got in and this was the beginning of it. One night I’ll never forget.
We had to UnCloth, some people were naked, I wore only my boxers and left my shoes on. My German guy was totally naked.

Then the show began. There was a starting performance from some professional actors. I heard they were porn stars. There were about 8 guys dressed as Monks and carrying candles, then some girls. There was a girl dragging two girls with a leash. These girls were like slaves with leashes on their necks and crawling like dogs.
Some people were also dressed in crazy sex costumes. It was like a real life 50 shades of Grey.

If you don’t participate, it means you don’t fit in and they’ll kick you out of the club. Seemed like someone went to report me, because the security guy came to me and asked if I had a problem.

I gave up and left the club. I did not even worry about the money I spent, I was just in shock. If you’re in Berlin and you want to visit this club, pls be aware of what to expect. If you’re black, you stand a great chance of getting into sex clubs like this, unless they know you as a drug dealer. They give special treatment to POC, and as a black person, you’ll be the center of attention. Everybody wants to taste a black body.

Let me tell you something, if you’re religious and you come to Berlin, you better hold on tight to God and close your eyes. If you’re curious, you can experience some things or you can kill the curiosity. If you ever decide to say “let me just try once”, know that it is over for you. You’re never coming back from that.

I have seen things in Berlin and NOTHING surprises me anymore. I thought some of the things people said, were just bluffs and fairytales. Until I experienced the unspeakable. I never imagined that women would be so open about sex, as to go naked and have sex openly in front of everyone.

When I started to get into the night life of Berlin, my circle of friends changed. These things are connected to each other. From party friends, you meet drug addicts, sex addicts, all kinds of activities and you become friends with some of them. I was always looking forward to the weekend so I could attend a wild party.

I had no interest in a relationship or marriage. Everything was sexual. I’ve also spent money at these places. They were born into this culture and are exposed to nudity. But for someone who just came from Nigeria, this was a shock and it became addictive. If you want to indulge, go ahead and have fun. Just know that your life can become uncontrollably damaged.

That being said, I have lots of stories about the Berlin dungeon experience but I’ll stop here. There are some memories I don’t want to relive. Some things are better left in the past. I hope you understand.

In my previous house where I lived, I had a neighbor from Spain. We were friends at first but he was always high on drugs, so I started to avoid him. We would be having a discussion and he’d just go crazy and everyone would be looking at him.

One day I was on the phone with my dad and this guy came banging on my door. I opened the door and he yelled at me “where’s my pot, where’s my pot, you thief”. I did not know which pot he was talking about, so I just closed my door and continued my phone call. He kept banging on my door with his hands and legs, like a mad person.

After my phone call, I went to his room to call him out. I was so angry that day and I was ready to knock him out. I took my shirt off and told him to come out. At that point, neighbors came out and held two of us from fighting each other. I later went back to my room. From that day we avoided each other for a long time.

After some months, I did not see him for some days, then I later heard that he went to rehab. That was when I realized that he was schizophrenic. I remembered what happened between me and him and I thought he was having a mental episode. He suffered schizophrenia and was also doing drugs. I don’t know if the schizophrenia was a result of the drugs.

On one beautiful day in 2018, it was summer and we were enjoying the beautiful weather. On the 8th floor of our building, we had a bar and canteen, where we would chill and buy food. There was also a rooftop and a balcony. We chilled there and some people were outside. This Spanish guy also sat there with a friend, he was drinking.

After a while, he walked to the balcony. There was little girl playing there. She came with her mother to visit someone. Before we knew what was happening, the guy jumped from the 8th floor of the building. It was a shock. I was numb. The little girl was standing there when he jumped and she was in shock.

I looked down and saw his face as he laid there lifeless. He was the second person I had seen commit suicide in 5 months. The police came and covered him up. There were also ambulances. It was like “oh another one has died, ok whatever.....” All the neighbors were troubled. Some were angry that they had to see it. One guy was sharing Vitamin D to everyone to help us cope.

I never had a chance to make up with the guy before he died. That image left me traumatized, even up till now. The next day I bought a ticket and ran to Stuttgart for 1 week, just to clear my mind. This is one incident I’ll never forget in my life.

In my opinion, that would not be a good choice. Coming here to read political science seems useless. I mean think about it, how would such a degree be of benefit to you in Germany? and I suspect your German knowledge is not that good.

If your relocation is based on just leaving Nigeria for good and hustling hard in Germany( with unrelated jobs to your degree) then good, but if you care so much about getting a professional job in political science after studies, then it would be quiet difficult. If that is the case, check for related social science degrees, maybe something like public administration ( if that is related).
