Looking at the comments on this thread, I see why the South East has nothing to show.

25% of Igbos are blaming others, 20% are living in denial, 5% are sensible enough to shut up and the remaining 50% are busy hawking gala at Ojuelegba. They would be back in the evening to insult "Tilumbu".

Ok

All these analysis missed the real reason for lack of investment in the SE. Most Igbos with means to purchase these goods don't even live in the SE hence low return on investment. They mostly live in the SW and the North hence money will always go to where their is a good ROI. End of story.

This is because of the Status of Lagos as Nigera's commercial capital and not as a result of any enabling environment put in place by the state governments. Did the actions of the state Governement reflect one that consciously puts in place good government policies? Lagos attracts investment because of their status and not because of any State government policy. Ogun state is merely a beneficiary of proximity to Lagos.
You're right. They're not doing anything different either, just a matter of their status as financial capital of Nigeria and number one port in Nigeria.

Gokada biz,Uber and Bolt can move to other cities in Nigeria like Kano,Kaduna,Onitsha.Lagos is not the only city in Nigeria

Instead of them to form their own security outfit they are fighting themselves with all their might. We know d political tussles in Igbo land especially Anambra.
They don't have one voice.
if Yorubas want Odua republic, 5 years is too much for us to get it.
Biafra can never exist cos of d unparalleled hatred DAT breed among dem, leaving their own problems and facing Yoruba's.

When they burnt half a dozen Dangote trucks the other day during Ipob protests, they didn't know there would be consequences.
Only a fool would waste money investing in the SE. Even the Commissioner for Information of Anambra state has run out of Igboland. He currently lives in Lagos.

I don't know why the SE is always at the receiving end of criticism.
Why is everyone always hard on the SE.
Looking at the FDI pie chart, you will notice that only SW and NC performed well.
The massive advantage is of course very obvious.
Lagos and Abuja!
These cities are in a league of their own.
SE is low on federal projects.
SE has no sea access.
SE has no international boundaries.
SE has the least number of states.
SE has by far the lowest land mass.
Instead of lambasting the SE, why not ask why the SS with her oil,sea access land, and everything performed that poorly.
And also everyone that has been blasting the SE seems to be missing the fact that NW came below SE.
How is that not more scandalous!
NW with all her federal might,land, international route, population etc.
NW might not have sea ports but they have a dry inland port. Another one is under construction in Ibadan. SE has nothing!
Abeg you people should give the SE a break.
That region is too small to be raising all this fuss.
I'm more interested in why SS and NW are fvcking up.
It's like any newspaper that wants to publish a selling story must look towards the SE.
