It was the Nairaland web robot (commonly referred to as a bot) that banned me for a reason only known to those who programmed it. I didn't do anything to that robot, nor did I get into an e-brawl. I just wrote a rebuttal to a post that had misleading information, and the robot banned me.

Reverend King came out many years ago, claiming to have been called by God. This man had many titles before his name: Bishop Reverend Doctor Professor Engineer Honorable... and so on and so forth. The number of titles was enough red flag, an indication of mental illness, and an evidence that he was nothing but an attention seeking joke.

Yet, this man drew a large following. His services were unusual. They were six long hours, during which you could not use the toilet even if pressed. As far as King was concerned, it was better to wet or soil your pants than leave the service.

He was such as abusive, overbearing man that he could set his worshipers ablaze if they disobeyed him. And he did do something like that when he set a church member on fire for an offense I can't now remember.

He was arrested, and sentenced to death. I think the sentence was commuted to a life sentence.

But the saddening thing about this story is that after King was arrested, his members began to terrorize the people in the neighborhood where the church was situated. These were people who should be thankful that they had been liberated from the bondage of an overbearing, and excessively possessive man. Yet, they were still willing to die for him.
