Hallo House, pls help a friend, pls to those that have gone for the interview, can you pls help snap a copy of the 'Visa Application Form' (seems there are two types but almost d same thing) and the 'questionnaire concerning the document verification process'. Also wanna ask, does the sworn affidavit require notarization? Thanks for your prompt response. |

your spouse need to provide a suitable accommodation contract of at least 12 sqm per adult and a salary contract of (bank statement of savings is also allowed) about 400 euro per month for you for atleast 6 - 12 months. These things vary depending on the person incharge of your file. I know a city (Siegen) that requires a student to show blocked account anytime they come for visa extension. Some cities simply ask for bank statement of your savings. When did the lawyer visit you for verification? brendybliss1: |

zamani234: I've been eagerly waiting for news about this as well. Read this and tell me what you think: https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/vertretungen/generalkonsulatlagos International flights are banned still. So even with a visa travel is not possible. But since visa Family reunion is been considered, I'll like to know how they approach the issue of travel. |

stereo: From the link, it seems we would need to contact the embassy via the contact form stating that we need an appointment for Blue card visa since its part of the exception for travellers that can enter germany. We can try this and see the feedback we get from them. As for the issue of International travel, From recent news it seems operations might start in september or october, so there is a bit of hope there. Generally visa processing will take a while due to covid, so if we can dates in september, visas should be out around the time international travel is possible, Or we just go to cotonou and book flight |

Hello please did you submit an A1 certificate on your appointment date? I’m wondering if they will process the application of those who’s A1 certificate had expired or had not taken the exam or they would place the application processing on hold for this reasons. brendybliss1: 1 Like |

Hello, Are you aware if your spouse in Germany has been contacted by Auslanderampt to show evidence of adequate accommodation and financial status? If not, such affected person can write the visa officer in charge of his/her file and request for appointment to do so. Most times, they can delay without any reason brendybliss1: |
