Buhari only free jihadist, sorry about the death of your brother. To make it easy for him your brother was an Igbo man and a Christian even more trouble. I am sorry.

"I Will Never Forgive Buhari For Killing My Brother’ - Nkem Owoh

Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh has spoken about a very painful subject regarding the death of his younger brother Bartholomew Owoh. Bartholomew Owoh was one of the three young Nigerians executed by General Buhari for an offence that allegedly did not carry the death penalty. Bernard Ogedengbe (29), Bartholomew Owoh (26) and Lawal Ojuolape (30) were publicly executed by General Buhari

According to a source close to the Nollywood actor who spoke with Breaking Times, Nkem Owoh and the rest of his family have not recovered from the trauma of the cold-blooded killing of the three young men, particularly their brother and son, Bartholomew Owoh.

The laws of Nigeria at the time the offence was committed did not prescribe the death penalty. When Buhari took over power, he insisted the young men should be executed and they were killed publicly by the firing squad.

According to the source, “Nkem Owoh and his family have not forgiven Buhari for killing their brother at the young age of 26.

Every time Nkem Owoh sees Buhari on TV, he weeps bitterly over his brother. He can’t even believe that Buhari has the nerve to seek re-election as President”. Bartholomew Owoh and others were allegedly arrested for peddling cocaine and convicted for that crime.

A little intro of the comic veteran actor:

He was born in October 1958, in Amagu Village, Udi town, Enugu state, Nigeria, and is now 58 years old. When he finished his primary and secondary education, he got admitted to the University of Ilorin to study for a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering. While in the University, he started his acting career. He was also a newscaster in the NTA network news Enugu, during the early 80s.

He has acted hundreds of Movies like Things Fall Apart back in 1987 (This is one of his first major movies. He starred this movie alongside the veteran actor, Pete Edochie), Ukwa, back in the year 2000 (This movie gave him the popular nickname “Ukwa”). The movie is about a funny village man Ukwa who travels to the city to meet his rich elder brother, and gets shocked when he is made an ordinary driver. This movie is packed with lots of interesting scenes.

This silly lamentation is what sets Americans and Europeans apart from Africans. The Americans or Europeans would have found means to eliminate Buhari either as soldier or civilian. Anyway, the execution of the three boys would not have happened either in Europe or America.

I am telling u people something is definitely wrong with people from that side....How can most of them either be drug pushers or related to one??
Nd they say the north is messed up!

So dis one expects people to sympathise with him??... Okay Lets say it didn't carry the death penality, it still would hv been life in prison nd with the little info i hv on naija prisons i would say firing squad was was mercy for his brother. Plus i still don't c where bubu comes in as he wasn't the panel that convicted his brother nor was he in the firing squad but i get it....Hating bubu is the moto that gets some people out of bed in the morning.

R.I.P to his brother tho! He is probably getting high on quality angel dust up there to even remember he once was in this shithole we r in ryt now(its the only silver lining i could extract).

Kindly avoid the mentions peeps, its the weed tlking. If only his brother sold "that" it would hv been a win for evryone(he'd still be alive nd there would hv been more weed in cycle)

This agbaya did not learn anything from that horrible experience, you should be speaking out against drug trafficking and dangerous criminal activities within your community, but you are still a bitter, hateful and disgruntled old man holding grudges?

Buhari did not convict and sentenced your brother, the tribunal convicted and sentenced him.

What about your executed brothers and the ones on death row in Asia? Do you hate the Asian governments too?

In fact, what about the 2 other drug traffickers, Lawal Akanni Ojulope, 30 and Bernard Ogedegbe, 29? Are their families still holding grudges too?

This old and irresponsible agbaya is just another hateful, bitter and disgruntled ipob.

LAGOS, Nigeria -- Three Nigerian men convicted of illegal possession of cocaine and heroin were publicly executed Wednesday by a military firing squad.

Several thousand people watched the execution outside the Kirikiri maximum security prison.

Police and soldiers had trouble controlling the crowd, drawn by radio and television publicity. Lagos state radio said a number of people fainted when the six-man execution squad fired.

Bartholomew Azubike Owoh, 26, a former employee of the Nigeria Airways, Lawal Akanni Ojuolape, 30, a spare parts dealer, and Bernard Ogedengbe, 29, a sailor, were condemned separately by a military tribunal last December.

Owoh smiled broadly, waved to reporters and prayed in front of the execution stake before he was tied to it, witnesses said.

'If I knew peddling in hard drugs would result in death I would not have done it,' he said.

Ojuolape, convicted of possessing more than 2 pounds of cocaine, also prayed before being tied to the stake.

'I am eating the fruit of my misdeed. ... It was my first time out on the cocaine business but I was caught,' he said.

The executions took 5 minutes to complete. The victims were loaded into rough coffins for burial at Atan cemetery in Lagos.

The three men were the first Nigerians executed under Decree 20 - which makes drug possession and trafficking and illegal dealings in oil punishable by death.

The decree is the result of a crackdown on crime and corruption by the government of Maj. Gen. Mohammed Buhari, which seized power in a coup Dec. 31, 1983. The Buhari government has declared 'war against indiscipline.'

This is what I don't get, you don't want to be sentenced to death for drug related crimes in Nigeria, but you still knowingly and prefer to take drugs to other countries where the punishment for drug trafficking is death.

Do you also shed tears for your brothers killed or sentenced to death in malaysia and asian countries too?

The man is no doubt a very wicked man that's someone who committed treason by plotting a coup to overthrew a democratically elected civilian govt a crime punishable by death but yet he was forgiven and spared from execution.
