Busquets goes to within 3 yards of Semedo as he faces up Davies which is classic DM positioning. . . but by the time Kimmich scored, Busquets has not even made it into the box.

This is the problem with escort DMs, they are never in camera frame when goals are being scored. It takes good insight to know when they are falling hand, even if you can't see them in camera frame.
