Most employment contract are like that. Most of us have a portion of our annual earnings tied to performance.

You will have a guaranteed salary and then the rest of your annual gross earnings tied to performance. So if Ur appraisal score is 80 out of 100 u get 80% of that bonus and so on....

I'm sure Willian's contract at Chelsea also has some performance Bonuses embedded in it which nobody is talking about in the media cos there was actually no reason to talk about it
