Hello good people, Please, I 've got a quick question concerning the points calculator for the skilled immigration. There is this sentence under the Partner Skills:'Your spouse or de facto partner must also be an applicant for this visa and has competent English.' The part of the statement that states that '.... de facto partner must be an applicant for this visa..' does this mean my spouse needs to do any skill assessment or must apply for the visa alongside with me if I'm given an ITA? My wife intends to write the IELTS, and she is within the required age range .Will this be enough to get a 5-point from partner skills? Again, when I used the point calculator, I had 75 points, would that be enough to get an ITA for someone with an occupation assessed by TRA? |

Good morning to our gurus here. Please can someone help with Vetasses address to use on my reference letter and possibly how to address it. My company has refused to sign 'to whom it may concern'. |

@ajayidebo, thanks for the detailed explanation. With respect to occupation, I am assessing for Electronics Instrument Trades Worker (Special Class) -- ANZSCO 342315 . Is there anyone in here who has been assessed positively and received an ITA based on this profession ? If yes, what was the total points you had? |

@Tunlex01 Please can I PM you? Please I need your assistance. Please and please. Thank you quote author=tunlex01 post=92587465] Sorry about your result. Unfortunately, except your designation has changed, it's still won't change anything. A CSM in a bank will not be working in branch operations at all but most likely be the head or team lead in the Customer Experience group at the head office. Your other options 1. Get your spouse to assess and be the PA 2. Asses as a Financial institution branch manager if you are an Operations head or branch manager. 3. Try other countries. [/quote] |

If there's any group on telegram or whatsapp to this effect, I'd appreciate it if the link to the group is sent to me. Also, I'd like to know if the general category of IELTS is recognized by the Australian immigration system. Finally, is WES in any way relevant to the Australian immigration system? |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 2:24am On Aug 13, 2020 |
nne79: Yes, it is normal. A third party evidence is usually required to confirm employment. He can get his pension fund statement from his pension fund provider. Tax certificate can be gotten from the office of internal revenue in your state provided the company is remitting tax on his behalf. |

oyelsj: Whatever info you seek on Whatsapp, you can get here. Not any I am aware of, there could be. Yes, general IELTS is acceptable for the main application. However, your occupation will depend if useful for skills assessment. Some occupations require academic for skills assessment. WES usefulness is restricted to Canada for immigration purpose. |

GoldPanther:Assess with EA as a professional Civil engineer, if you can gather up to 90points go for 189 and if your 5years working experience isn't cut, hopefully Victoria won't change their conditions for 190 as regards to engineering professions come October then you can give 190 a trial with your 5years working experience. 491 comes with conditions depending on states. 1 Like |

Do medical test results from any government hospital accepted? I hope it’s not via panel doctors |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bligs: 7:23am On Aug 16, 2020 |
GoldPanther:The occupation ceiling/cap for civil engineers in this financial year for 189 is 1000 slots and so far only 5ppl have been invited. The issue is if your are certain that your 5years working experience will be approve you can actually lodge two different EOI, one for 189 and hope that the points will drop to 85 and the other for VIC 190 then you go for whichever ITA that come first. |

Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 12:01pm On Aug 16, 2020 |
AustinT575: Can you stop disturbing people with this question? You have asked about 4 times on the living in Australia thread. You have been told more than once the acceptable places for medical test but it seems you are bent on looking for who to validate the misinformation you hold dear. This quote below was the first time you asked the question - AustinT575: This was the first response you got: jukeblam: Despite this straightforward answer, you kept answering same question and talking about what an agent told you. If you are not willing to accept the truth, there is no point in constituting a nuisance by answering same question repeatedly. It will cost you nothing to read what is spelt out clearly on Home Affairs website. If it suits you, you can go ahead and do your test in a government hospital and we will watch where it will lead you. To answer you for the last time. Medical examination/test for Australia visa purpose CANNOT be done in any government hospital only in Home Affairs approved hospitals which are IOM hospital and Fatayi Williams Clinic. Any other test outside these places are for your personal record or regular check up. 4 Likes |

iammiracle1: Check the occupation list to see the occupation you can nominate. Visit www.anzscosearch.com On the top middle page click "Lists" (on a laptop/computer) or click the Hamburger sign (3 horizontal lines) to select "Lists" if you are using a mobile device Go through the 3 lists MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL Click any of the occupations that best relate to what you do. When you click the occupation, scroll down to 'Anzsco code' and scroll to 'Tasks' Check if the tasks relate to the occupation you have selected. Revert here with occupation(s) you deem relate to what you do and we will take it up from there 2 Likes 1 Share |
