aduhube: They are huge market in that region, the SE's share of Nigeria's economy is only 7%, but not in the SW, the region that controls half of Nigeria's economy, 48%. The SW is still Nigeria's industrial hub, meaning it consumes nearly all the major industrial goods and services from machinery to raw materials and finished products. Look at the table below SE is all the way at the bottom. 11 Likes 3 Shares

post=92869311: The deceit in this country is on another level. They said Rivers ports have shallow draft and is not suitable for big ships. I almost bought the lie. Just imagine. If Nigeria is truly restructured, Lagos can never be greater than Rivers. Because they have nothing on Rivers. Nothing at all. 17 Likes 4 Shares |

knowledgeable:just to explain one scenario to them. That vessel carries up to 7000 boxes (containers in maritime parlance) and it costs a minimum of 700k to move a container from Apapa to anywhere just within Lagos. Do the maths. That is minus 4.9 billion from Lagos economy. Hand over the mic to burdbillion and MC Ólèomo. I want to hear what they have to say because NURTW and Omo onile commission no go just waka like that. Should we ask Our Niger Delta brothers to collect on your behalf? 10 Likes 1 Share |

The whole Nigeria cannot be causing chaos in Apapa. The NPA should encourage importers to use other ports in Rivers, Calabar and Warri. 2 Likes |

I'm quite happy. The Portharcourt-Aba Industrial area will witness a big boom in industrial activities. I must commend President Buhari at least, he's somehow proving not to be a sentimental biase in spreading even development. Onne Free Trade Zone has been well managed by Intel Logistics. Even the Yoruba people will welcome the development it's in the interest for them, so long as it decongest the Tincan and Apapa Ports. CheGuevara101: Do you still want to add lies to your problem, go and read your first comment for a refresher, you shock me bro. Talking about the finisher of hate...do you want me to show you my own statistics I make on NL. The most common words on this forum (comment section) are "igbo amaka", "afonjas" and "brown roof", what does this imply? Whenever there is a thread about bad side of igbos, it takes long before you see Yorubas commenting. But any bad stories about Yoruba will quickly attract hate comments. I do data science and ML (if you know what these mean) and I have these raw facts with me. Even within the so-called igbo east, Anambra is not so liked by many other states within the region, that shows the level of hatred Igbo group sometimes display. I have evidences if you want them. I love igbo people myself, but if any idiotic prat thinks he can get to my tribe by making derogatory comments, that's where I raise eyebrow. 14 Likes |
