From Onne to Aba is not up to 2 hours while to Onitsha is 3 hours plus. If this port come into full operations, Lagos economy will be affected badly. Is hightime i started to buy landed property in Port harcourt. 1 Like

knowledgeable: Dwarf what? You should watch out for the construction of the $1.5bn lekki deepsea port to be completed and see if the shipping liners would not love to berth their sheep in Lagos base on availability of space. The strategical location of Lagos alone is an advantage base on the accessible roads that connects Lagos to parts of Nigeria and other West African countries. Definitely most containers that will also wants to berth in Cotonuo may also take the advantage of the Lekki deep sea port base on availability of space. The Lekki free trade zone, dangote refinary, Lekki International Airport, the Pan-African_University, lekki international Golf Course and Eleganza Industries etc are all located in that zone alone before talking of manufacturing companies that base within Lagos and Ogun. Lagos ports deserve to be busy and be free from congestions when available space are ready that is just it. 1 Like |

ProtectMyMoney:Don't mind that fellow shouting and praising NPA boss without having any prior knowledge about the happenings around! Come to Lagos port being the premier port and find out how a vessel spends days if not weeks for a discharging and loading meant for 1 or 2 days.. In China this is few hours job with gantries that can discharge 5000 containers in hours. |

post=92890241:lol You sound pathetic. Who would lend your poor states money so you can default in payment because of your very tiny IGR. USA is the most indebted nation in the world. Anambra has the highest external debt and they cannot survive without the FG's feeding bottle. What a pathetic situation. |

[s] post=92890241:[/s] Stop posting the same meaningless and childish rubbishy. All your SE states are debtor states regardless and they still have nothing to show for their debts beyond kerosene, wheelbarrow and boreholes. Funny how the states with more debts than you have more to show for their debts than you with your so called meaningless low debt. What's your excuse? SE is still the poorest region in Nigeria so what's your pointless point? You people can not make sense to save your lives. 1 Like |
