Hmmmm

anyway the thread had always been about our dear SE, and Football, just that we can't discus our Eagles without including the Europeans,

the least we could tolerate is a little derailing, not much,

and in the Spirit of the Beautiful game, what happens this past week is expacted, whats wasn't is it went too far

PEACE man, but I 8-2 say this, Dont wage the big Axe

Hi everyone.

Please let's keep the discussion and posts in this thread on issues surrounding Nigerian football and players.

There are specific European football clubs and match day threads in the European football section for discussing euro football.

Stop derailing

I wouldn't want to wield the big axe.

Safe...

Put this PSG team in the EPL, and watch them win the league back to back... Bayern would win the EPL 5 times in a row

What a joke?

In as much as I 8-2 say dis...I will support his claims dt,considering recent forms of both clubs..Liverpool won't defeat bayern of dis season cool

TheGoodJoe:
Big lesson for Guardiola today.

I think the demolition of Barcelona wrecked havoc on Guardiola's mentality. That is the only excuse I can give for this show of shame.

Why start three central defenders and two defensive midfielders? What was he thinking? What happened to bravery and going down with your swords held high.

This was embarrassing. Not about the dynamics or chances. The strategy was stinking. He taught us what bravery was all about but was too scared.

Either way, kudos to Rudi Garcia. Such a brilliant tactician and was immense today. The Lyon guys played very well and indeed Dembele is a boss.

Denayer was magical. Shocking we let such talent go. I wonder why Guardiola never wanted him.

Congrats to Rudi Garcia and Lyon. Well played.

I think you are the only one seeing it from my perspective. It seems the previous champions league defeat by Tottenham and Liverpool has affected his mentality and made him to be a bit more scared of teams. If you noticed I think in the matches especially the one with Liverpool he played safe too, starting an extra midfielder instead of an attacker so he didn't go for his usual 4-3-3 and the tie was lost at that first leg. The normal Guardiola I know is very attacking.
Let me ask those saying he was right by being too cautious, do you think Bayern would have been cautious with this Lyon team? Prolly Bayern have a better team than Man City but Man City has more than good enough team to finish off this team if only the set up was right

On Tolu Arokodare: Why he isn't in action right now as his side play

Ladies and Gentleman, there is fire on the mountain at Valmiera. Tolu Arokodare refused to train with the team or play today's game. He is trying to force a move to Anderlecht although the club, Valmiera say over 10 sides are interested in Tolu.

Tolu's agent is the same agent that Osimhen fired to bring in William D'avila (associate of Super Agent Jorge Mendes) and D'Amico.

Yep... Jean Benoit Czajka is his name. Osimhen's former agent who was fired in the course of the Napoli deal.

Below is the club's statement.

Football is all about interest. Clubs don't care about what you did yesterday and are read to relegate or throw out an under performing player nau nau regardless of the negative impact on the player.

Besides, opportunity they say comes but once and football get expiring date. It's short. Last last 7 - 10 years. Spending another season is - 1. He is from Africa...we know what that means.

The club should allow the boy to move asap.

Lol.... This is not about any disagreement. This is calling out a blatant and immature statement on your part to keep derailing the thread without cause.
That is you being your usual immature dark self all in the name of being a Liverpool fan bent on distracting the thread with irrelevant Liverpool posts. Guy, that is not how to be a fan. Grow up please. grin

P.S: You guys have the floor today only b'cos of UEL night. Spend it well. But on another day... This won't be tolerated anymore. There is a section for those irrelevant and useless banters you club guys do. Take it there. Thank you.

Blueelf:

Semid4lyfe, please take note of crybabies that run to the principal's office at every slight disagreement

Meanwhile, I await my ban
