Well, obviously some Bundesliga clubs' scouts don't share the same opinion as some in here. Lol Collins was second in the Bundesliga for most ground duels won. Collins was also in the top 20 for players with most ball touches in the Bundesliga for 2019/2020. In interceptions, Collins also emerged in the top 10 across the top 5 leagues for 19/20. He is not anywhere near top class but he is quite decent. Anyway, there are a few signs of his impending transfer. He has been training with Paderborn but he missed their preseason friendly few days back. Also, Paderborn already has his replacement for the season in Chima Okoroji who actually played that friendly. Time will eventually tell shaa. barackodam: 4 Likes |

Sadiq Umar's goal in Partizan Belgrade's 2-0 league win away at Radnik from August 15. Check from 4:40. His goal was class. That is his 3rd goal of the 2020/2021 season already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id9Z7pcV_nw 4 Likes |

CAF has postponed the 2020 FIFA under-20 women’s World Cup qualifiers due to international travel restrictions. In an email sent to the FAs, Ehwany said the new dates will be communicated as soon as the competent bodies decide on a way forward.

[quote author=TheGoodJoe post=92901597]Apologies to those who feel slighted one way or the other. Put your hard feelings aside and let us return back to the way things are. I repeat, even Iheanacho and Ndidi are discussing Sevilla vs Manchester United now. When it comes to National period, most will switch over. For NPFL fan boys, if you want more discussions on it, please do post regularly on it, informing us on what is happening there and you will see gravitation towards it. Finito. [/quote I would post on the topics intermittently but nobody responds and you know why. Because , though this thread is for our super eagles news the euro fan boys like TheGoodJoe and company had swore we will never have breathing space. You , thegoodJoe is also a cancer on the thread with your mancity craze. When I wrote about Ifeanyi Egwim with his injuries how many of you responded but you want to use this platform to wallow in your insane fantasies in europe football, init. The reason why people like you stuck your head here is to enjoy the traffic not because you couldnt go to your thread to discuss mancity and Guadiola. You dont want to go there because aint nobody cares about mancity that much to spend one week discussing their business. When I wrote about Plataeu UTD being the NPFL champs only Doctor Likita replied , everyone else was busy discussing messi and ronaldo and ignored the very topics which this thread was created for. The only time you fully engage in Nigerian football is only before and after our games, the rest of the time is guadiola, a racist ffucker who have continued to humiliate black Africans and mancity news. Its complete nonsense, oga! 3 Likes |

Clementoke:Oga scroll over if you don't like those discussions. I was depressed at the earlier period of the lockdown because the thread that gives me joy got so dry, i kept on refreshing to see posts but nothing. Do you know what that feels like? Some of us are just addicted to this thread and sees everyone as family. Afrobear barely makes any sensible post but i feel him when he is not around for long and so many others. The arguments and all are a few things that keeps this thread. With time everything will fall in place when international football resumes. You won't need to tell anyone. Super eagles is my club that is why i am always here even though i don't post much due to my limited knowledge of the game of which i came to learn from more informed ones and partly due to my job description. You go to school for degree doesn't mean you can't socialise and have fun. yes, these are rules but if you have never derailed this thread before, come forward let's see you 13 Likes 1 Share |

I have been away from here for the most part since my last post about SE list, just because I don't have much to contribute when it's not relating to our players. Even if I did, it would have been inundated with UEFA/Europa related posts. That said, I don't get why andrew was banned. You mean he attacked a mod literally? Edopesin: 1 Like |

Edopesin: The clash against Ghana is in the U17s womens qualification. That is still set to take place as arranged. This U20 still has 2 or 3 rounds to go. With that being said Nigeria are unprepared in both. NFF still searching for head coaches of all female teams. Anything that goes wrong now our NFF go just blame am on covid |

jimmyiovine: This is exactly what their President said “Our female Under-20 and Under-17 national football teams have been given the clearance to go into their respective training camps to begin preparations towards their FIFA and CAF-sanctioned international matches, which begin in September." And yes the pandemic is the ultimate excuse for the NFF and CAF 1 Like |

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr said the 2020 UEFA Champions League (UCL) semi-final pairings are mouth-watering ties that would be a spectacle to watch even as he backed his former German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich, to go all the way. The interesting semi-finals to be played as one-off match in Portugal will see a German Bundesliga side tango against a French Ligue 1 side as PSG and RB Leipzig clash tomorrow at The Estádio da Luz in Lisbon; while Bayern Munich tackle Lyon at the the Estádio José Alvalade on Wednesday. “ As a Franco-German ( general laughter) I’m very happy with the semi-final fixtures because which way you look at it, I’m going to be a winner, “ The 67-year-old former Bayern Munich defender told NationSport. “ But my heart will be for Bayern Munich, my former club of course; and I’m happy that three of the four coaches in the semi-finals are Germans. “This means we have good school and coaching tradition in Germany; and I’m happy for Bayern coach Hans-Dieter “Hansi” Flick who is my personal friend; and also know the two other German coaches too (Thomas Tuchel of PSG ; and Julian Nagelsmann of Leipzig). “ They all made good impression in the quarter finals with their tactics as well as substitutions ; and I think the semi-finals are going to be pleasant to watch.” While Tuesday’s clash between PSG and RB Leipzig would be their first ever in an European competition, Wednesday’s fixture between Bayern and Lyon will be their ninth encounter in European competitions but Rohr said it was painful no Super Eagles is in any of the final four teams. “ The semi-finals are interesting but I regret there is no Super Eagles in any of the semi-finalists but we I’m happy there is Joshua Zirkzee Who is a Dutch-Nigerian with Bayern and Ademola Lookman who is British-Nigerian with Leipzig,” noted Rohr who also featured for French club, Bordeaux in his heyday. Edopesin: We shld b more concerned about d last paragraph where rohr said he's sad dt no super eagles player in d semifinals D question dt shld b in our mind is when last have we had players representing us in uefa champions league @ d knockout stage..as for me I can only remember Mikel 2011/2012 season Our players re not playing on d biggest stage where it matters, salah mane were d champions last season, also played in d final against madrid wc dey lost(I think two season ago)..while we easily sing our players praises to d heavens for making headlines like most tackle made in premiership, 4 successful dribble and a single assist against barca and Madrid, a world class goal(best young striker in d world) against Valencia in an inconsequential last group stage match ,even d Cameroonians dt dere national team is not on d same par with us are ruling dis year champions league (choupa moting and d oda player in Lyon). When re we going to start cin our players again doing such? 2 Likes |
