He wasn't ruled out cos of Espanyol.

He was ruled out cos Koeman was coming in harder than we'd thought.

If Koeman had insisted, they'd have gone for him. He and Koeman no be mate naa, why go for lesser?
ok. I thought it is because of Espanyol.

It is only logical that you back up your claim...that certainly should not be too hard.

I don’t think there is anything to backup about me saying awaziem ain’t good enough to play for Barcelona

The picture is clear

It’s normal we Nigerians will always want to speak good of our players

If any Nigerian is good enough to play for Barcelona it would be osimhen and ndidi at 100 percent ,the rest might not even be good enough for my arsenal team let alone FCB

Someone that’s not good enough for Porto but yet he is good for Barcelona , O wrong naw

If this is who you truly are in real person, then, I pity the people around you. You are so devoid of integrity.

If you were smart enough, and had any integrity in you, you would have asked yourself what warranted such outburst, what argument did Andrew have with Seun that made him address Seun the way he did? You are this kinda person that breeds evil and always eager to sow a seed of discord between two.

This thread is becoming something else, I cannot believe Joebie was banned for speaking his mind, The mods should apply common sense by going through the initial comments that prompted the outbursts of people they are placing on ban

People that contribute sensible posts are placed on ban while the bitter and depressed ones that contribute literally nothing are allowed to roam around

Happy banning

But I have watched people exchanged insults and at the end of the day no one gets banned

But someone has been banned for speaking his mind

Someone was also banned for insulting Xeun but so many people do go scot free for throwing insults

Maybe Xeun is superior because he owns Nairaland or the mod is just a confused fellow

Unless in their rule book insulting a mod is an offense but insulting anyone else asides the mods can be tolerated

Champions League winner joins Potters

Ex-Nigeria star is fourth summer signing

Boss impressed by his top flight ambition

John Obi Mikel is Stoke City’s fourth signing of the summer, the Club are delighted to confirm.

The Nigerian international midfielder joins Morgan Fox, James Chester and Steven Fletcher in checking in at the bet365 Stadium ahead of the 2020/21 Championship season.

Mikel, who won a host of domestic and European honours during a glittering 11-year stay at Chelsea, returns to English football after a spell in the Turkish Super Lig with Trabzonspor.

Manager Michael O’Neill said: “We’re delighted to bring John to the Club. His playing career speaks for itself and underlines his calibre as a player.

"I was really impressed with him when we met for the first time and he outlined what he wants from the next phase of his career."

“We spent four hours talking and he made it clear he wants to get back into the Premier League and finish his career there and hopefully he can do that with Stoke City.”

Mikel made more than 370 appearances for Chelsea, helping them to land the Premier League title twice, as well as three FA Cups, the Champions League and Europa League.

After a spell in China, he played for Middlesbrough after joining them on a short-term deal in January 2019, making 19 appearances. He won 91 caps before retiring from international football following last year’s African Cup of Nations.

Who is Man U DM?
Who is Barca DM
Matuidi is leaving Juventus if he hasn't left, outside matuidi, who is Juventus DM?
All of them, who among them is better than Ndidi?

The fact is Ndidi doesn't have a good agent, not that the big clubs DM positions are occupied

Oga all dis players u re mentioning have a better CV Dan ndidi..its only on dis thread u c ndidi has world class..to me he's just average... When it comes to club bidding for u,ur CV comes handy..it goes beyond having 1000 interception in a season

Y do u think Mikel is still getting a decent club @ d age of 33? If not for his CV

If he's lucky to leave Leicester for a bigger club and he start raking in recognized trophies/personal laurels, he will b recognized... As far as FIFA is concerned,EVERYTHING WISE,ndidi is not in d top 10 best DMF in d world...d likes of kante, busquest ,casemiro, fabinho, blaise matuidi etc are well decorated players with rich cvs cool

1. I am the moderator of the Sports section and I have not acted outside the rules.

2. You guys insult yourselves daily on this thread but I overlook it because I know you all are friends, it's mostly light banter, there's an in-house mechanism for resolving issues and common sense will prevail at the end of the day.

3. Andrewbab44's outburst and insult to Xeun was without provocation, unnecessary and plain silly.

Even Xeun is mad

Xeun should come and ban me also

Nonsense

His quoted post above contravenes rules 2 and 20 of the forum.

4. Joebie, even after being shown the reason for which andrewbaba44 was banned still doubled down and insulted the moderator which contravened the same Rule 2 and 20; and to what purpose?

Solidarity with his friend?

Anyway, he boasted he doesn't give a damn even if he's banned for eternity so he should take his 1 week ban like a man and stop whinning.

The stubborn fly that refuses to let go off the corpse will also go six feet under.

A pleasant day to Y'all.
