I mean, it's one of the largest native African tribes with some of the most popular traditional lore. I know a bunch of Yoruba gods but I can't mention any Igbo or Hausa god.

Well in the case of the Hausa.
There is very little left of the traditional religion and mythology. Most of it has been erased after conversion to Islam.
But a Hausa god who's name still exists is ubangiji, because the name has now become nothing more than a word meaning "lord god", and iskoki which are just spirits.
Though the maguzawa which are pagan hausas still exists in southern Niger republic, they should still have preserved some of the old beliefs.

Kissanime, while I haven't used it much in some time, had some old series that I liked watching..

The sad thing is that soon, all the pirate sites might go off line in due course...with Japan tightening up the laws.

I kind of have mixed feelings. On the one hand, it's good for the anime industry...piracy chops money. On the other hand...if you don't live in the States or Japan, accessing anime might be a bit harder.

I just got reminded that I can never watch My Hero Academia eng dubbed....coz the character & characteristics of Bakugo would be damaged and permanently lost!

The Soul Eater anime is so underrated and I think it's because of its trash ending.

The ending really messed up other wise it's super underrated.
It needs a Full Metal Alchemist treatment like with brotherhood.

The manga has a lot of uncovered chapters and the ending is far better.
I really want to see that last blackstar vs mifune fight in animated form.

Realized I never reviewed Gundam Unicorn. An
8.6/10 for me.

People tend to have the dislike and have the misconception that mech anime are all about the mechs and not the world, politics and character struggles with the mechs just being weapons in this world.

Unicorn serves as a conclusion to the Universal Century (original) timeline, you can still enjoy it without watching the previous Gundam iterations.

Has good animations, more old school character designs and sound tracks by Hiroyuki Sawano.
Sawano and Aimer even made an album based on this series called un:child.

Same old moral ambiguity of war and destruction, whiny teenagers, politics of the oppressive earth federation and fascist Zeon spacenoid terrorist/revolutionaries common in the Gundam universe.

There hasn't been a good mech anime in years now.
Darlin in the franxx tried but it flopped.
