I just did decking last week , and i used around 600k for wood and bamboo inclusive 350 pcs of it .I went to the wood stand to purchage it with my carpenter so he can make his choice. My house is 4 flats of 3unit of 2bedroom and 1 unit of 3bedroom .i used 210 bags of cement, bought 2 tipper of 30tons of sand ,2 tippers of 30tons of granite of which i still hv some granite remaining , total spent is 2.2m inclusive staircase, plumbing material , electrical materials and labour

Now you can take your trade person there to ensure it's the quality you are buying
If you take trade people with you for the first time, the product might cost you N100 or more for each piece
behind you
the trade man will raise one or two fingers up for the seller to increase the price by the number of fingers

2ndly what range is the avg for architectural drawings alone and then the complete drawings with certified Mechanical ,electrical, civil drawings etc included

There is no specific fees for architectural,structural,electrical or mechanical drawings .It depends on ur power of negotiation and affordability!

Hello sir, its nomal here in lagos. They where at my site last month before i cast my decking and we negotiated. They gave me a bill of 300k here at ajah, i negotiated 100k, gave them 50k and pleaded to pay the Balance later on.
U see, u were suppose to get an approval with your structural detailing drawing before u commerce with the job. If they shuld seal up ur property u wil pay the 250k for unseal and then even pay for the so called approval. My advise will be to negotiate with them. sometimes engineers knows this, but because of the requirements and timing to gettig this approval, they rather just commerce with the construction and settle the field agents, speaking from experience as am into build and sell. Hope this helps.

There's this nairalander that stated she works in Ogun state ministry of lands i think she does C of O. But she could point you to the right direction.

Disclaimer: I have not worked with her before and never met her, I am just going by her post posted here on nairaland.
