IDENNAA: Either old school or modern, wingers are expected to both score and create. Salah is a peculiar case because Firmino spends lots of time outside the 18. Mane creates and scores, so do Robben and Chukwueze, they have no striking similarities to strikers. Onyekuru on the other hand plays like Aubameyang, watch this clip below. The coach utilised him as a Shadow Striker. https://mobile.twitter.com/MahirVVarol/status/1267760423547408384?p=v 1 Like |

FIFA cancels all international matches in September, moves them to January/February. "Men’s international match calendar to replace the window from 31 August to 8 September 2020 with a window from 24 January to 1 February 2022 for all confederations except UEFA. This means that there is no mandatory release of players for member associations from these confederations in September 2020; to include the new period of January 2022 for the CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with the exact dates to be determined at a later stage; and to include the new dates of the Concacaf Gold Cup 2021 (preliminary rounds from 2 to 6 July 2021 and final tournament from 10 July to 1 August 2021) with a mandatory release starting on 28 June 2021. Women’s international match calendar to replace the dates for the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, originally scheduled from 22 July to 7 August 2020, with new dates of 21 July to 6 August 2021; to finalise the dates of the originally scheduled Type I window in June-July 2021 as 7 to 15 June 2021; to cancel the existing window of 14 to 22 September 2020 for all confederations except UEFA; to include alongside the existing Type I window from 13 to 21 September 2021, an alternative option of a Type III window from 13 to 25 September 2021 for all confederations except UEFA; to finalise the dates of the existing Type II window in June-July 2021 as 7 to 16 June 2021 for all confederations except UEFA; to remove the current blocked period for the Women’s AFCON from 23 November to 20 December 2020; and to include UEFA in the blocked period from 4 July to 7 August 2022." With a statement on their official website, Belgian First Division A side Cercle Brugge have confirmed the signing of Nigeria-eligible striker Ike Ugbo from Chelsea. The former England U17 international has joined Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan with an option to buy included into the deal. This will be his fifth loan spell in three years, having previously played for Scunthorpe United, Milton Keynes Dons, Barnsley and Roda JC. Commenting on his new signing from Chelsea, Chairman Vincent Goemaere told the club's official website : "With the arrival of Ike Ugbo we are strengthening our line of attack in a targeted manner. "Ugbo is a sturdy, strong striker who easily found his way to goal last season when he was loaned out to Roda JC. "That he did not disappoint he can this display this season at Cercle. Welcome Ike! " Last season, Ugbo registered his name on the scoresheet 13 times in 28 Keuken Kampioen Divisie matches. Chelsea have informed via their official website that he extended his contract with the club before heading to Cercle Brugge on loan. |

TheLoneCitizen: Five star post. Very impressive write up and I must say a very mind opening read. Kovac is a man I respect so much and I think the current form of Bayern Munich has a lot to do with him. Glad that Onyekuru who is one of the LXH (League of Extraordinary Hitmen) is working under a man who played a part in the improved form of Serge Gnabry. The article highlights the tactical part of the game Kovac wants to see in Onyekuru and I must say, if Onyekuru gets it right, he will be in for an explosive season. Can't wait to see what happens at Monaco under the tutelage of Niko Kovac. 3 Likes |

Meanwhile watching PSG play Liepzig. Liepzig have a lot of pace but PSG gave pace but with devastating finishing. My money is on PSG. Maybe we might see Ademola today but whether he plays or not, don't think they can win this one. |

Subzero047: Mane 18 goals from 35 goals in the EPL. Almost lmost retired Robben 5 goals from 12 games last season in Bundesliga. Chukwueze 3 goals from 37 games in La Liga. Stating facts may be EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL for you but not for me. |
