No, I haven't. Item still in Nipost custody o. This is the second week of order arrival, yet it hasn't gotten to my local PO here in Lagos. Can you imagine that?. I was at the post office today to pick a March order, but was told this particular one hasn't gotten to them.

I'm in the same boat, mine arrived Aug 2nd and they haven't called or sent any Text

Ordered a package around May ending and it arrived at the destination country since June 16. Surprisingly, I'm yet to be contacted by the post office for 2 months since the arrival of the package.


Anyone familiar with this situation?


N:B I'm not a newbie to Ali order and they use to send a message when every package arrives.

Track with another tracking site (track24.net preferably) to confirm if your order has arrived Nigeria

Go to your PO and check if it has arrived

If e never arrive your only option is to continue waiting

Good Day folks. I made an order for a refurbished LG phone since 3rd June using AESS. The phone is repackaged as if new i.e. in pack with earpiece, charger and user manual. I have seen some comments (on some seller's page) by some buyers from other countries that their customs office held back the phone with the reason that the seller lowered the price (i.e quoted a wrong amount on the pack for a brand new phone of that model) to avoid paying some custom duties. The buyer had to go bail the phone with some cash even after explaining that the phone isn't brand new. My questions are:

1). Does such happen with our Nigerian Customs? (Given that it was shipped with AESS).

I was called on Friday (14th Aug) to come pick up an item I ordered 3 weeks after I ordered the phone (through same AESS). After collecting the item, I asked them to check their system if my parcel (the phone) has arrived, I was told that their server has been down since Tuesday (11th Aug).

2). Does the PO computer only have record of parcels in that particular post office OR the computer can check Nipost database for parcels that have been received and registered by Nipost (countrywide)??

The Nigerian custom duty fees is a game of chance and luck. Mr A and Mr B can buy exactly the same product, while Mr A gets his package without duty, Mr B has to pay a huge custom duty. So no guarantee that a package will not get duty until it arrives and didn't get one!

The PC at the PO checks the tracking using internet and not intranet. You, too, can track your package. NIPOST tracking website (https://www.nipost.gov.ng/Track_Trace) these days works when it feels like. You are better off running your tracking yourself using the multiple tracking websites such track24 .net, 17track . net etc.

Na wao.. It seems all this items are packed somewhere in Lagos and it's not getting any update..

Last night mine showed arrived country of destination.. And today is making it 67 days on transit.
