No, either we pay high taxes, or high fees ,or we take the hard economic decisions to get the kind of economy we want.

(British don't have the money or cash to recolonize any country...plus colonial rule means development ONLY for the bits useful to the British)

Honestly, you are neither here nor there...

Is what he is demanding of Buhari achievable or not??! Is he asking for too much??!... What is the whole point of leadership if a nation as big as Nigeria can't even boast of a single hospital of international standard, that all elected officials zoom out at even the occurrence of headaches or common cold??!

Buhari can achieve it, that's certain.

But it is keeping up the high standard that is the problem.

That's where my argument about taxes and fees comes in.

Obasanjo did what the guy is asking for, and today they all don't work because the health budgets, taxes and healthcare fees could not raise the sums needed to maintain all those world class stuff

This is a very good development, we should see more of such projects all over the country, building of industries that will create more jobs.
Most of us in Nigeria don't vote and that explains why only about 35% of registered voter participate in actual voting ( this includes rigged figures). In a country of over 200million people with half of her population above 18, only 15m made the current president and another 12m voted opposition. Total 27 out of a 100m million possible votes that could have changed the game. But this is not my focus now.
My concern now is fact that most of us are tertiary voters. The primary voters are those who determine those that make it to the political party primaries. The secondary voters are those who vote at party congresses and primaries. The tertiary voters are those who have a PVC and take the time against all odds to vote.
As we approach 2023, we will be making same mistake if we wait until late in 2022 to start bragging about having a PVC. The focus of every well meaning Nigerian now should be how to step up in political participation. Move from voting between the devil and the deep blue sea on election mornings to actually determining who become the party candidate. If not, join me to push for independent candidacy to be allowed in the electoral act amendment. Until till then, prepare for more lamentation in future.
The leaders are really not the problem but the docility of we the followers.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Many of those that do vote sell their votes to the useless old men who continue to destroy this country.

Buhari spent many years visiting hospitals in London for medical check-up. As a matter of fact, he was away from the country for many months, culminating in concerns that he may be impeached for his absence from work.

Today, that man has never taken steps to build or replicate the standard of hospital he uses in London here in Nigeria as a legacy he's living behind so as to reduce medical tourism.

Sometimes, you don't have to be a genius to make a good leader. You just need a bit of common sense

We are in need of this type of hospitals across Nigeria

Yes Ma'am.
But the problem is that our leaders cum Politicians are devious as they still steal lots of Foreign Currencies outside Nigeria to satisfy their appetite. It was Covid-19 that slowed them down even as they all packed their Private Jet.Very unpatriotic people.

Calabar received one of the least monthly allocation in Nigeria, because the lost Bakassi peninsula to Cameroon many years ago, as a result of this they also lost 76 oill well to Akwa ibom state, that is why Akwa ibom is currently in top 2

...because it is owned by Nigerian government. This hospital is not owned by America government.

That will be out of the reach of normal Nigerians. It will only cater mainly for the thieves and their cohorts.

Americans themselves lack proper and affordable medical care in America.
