FYI this is not the first time such a measure has been tried.

6 months down the line, things will somehow magically go back to the way they now are.

That is Nigeria for you.

This is coming after the signing of presidential order by VP osinbajo. It sounds cool to hear this news. Now, Apapa that is overburden would now be relieved. no more traffic, blocked road due to faulty trucks etc.

Is there any way you would compare sixteen years of wasteful administration by PDP with resourceful APC government?

Good plan. I think the government are coming up with ideas, implementation is just the key.
Re: FG Begins Movement Of Cargoes From Lagos To Onitsha Port To Ease Apapa Traffic by Nobody: 3:13pm On Aug 19, 2020
With this igbos would never think of leaving. Buhari might have done this on purpose to weaken the SW and empower the SE, making them (the SE) his friends. And the port would be so developed BTW cos igbos constitute the "major importers in this country". This is wisdom beyond sight.
Anyway, I love Nigeria and one Nigeria. Kudos to the buhari administration

Lmao, they thought they are dealing with East by directing all Cargoes to Lagos, and rendering all the eastern ports maribond, but God have used it against them. All that Apapa area is just toxic. Trailers everywhere, mean while data have shown 60% of imports goes to the East. Now they want to use barges and transport to the East. Soon they will be forced to expand so Ships can ship direct. na una go tire.

This Journey started many years ago, if the port is fully activated and concession under PMB and with the construction of Second Niger bridge and others infastructures, PMB have written his name in minds of many Igbos and can't be forgotten watch the video of Onitsha port 9 yrs ago
