Ibime: What's the point of playing if rank doesn't play a part ? |
Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2020/21 by Ibime(m): 8:08pm On Aug 19, 2020 |
Caulker: There's also a first come, first served basis. Generally anyone in the top40 and any former Champion that applies early enough can get code. This is because many guys on the main league don't apply for FA Cup, so we can't be waiting for only the top 24 to apply as we will be waiting forever. The 24 spots are full now. It would be unfair to kick anyone out as they also performed well or are former Champions. Nihilist also missed out on FA Cup last season due to lateness. It's one of those things. |
Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2020/21 by Caulker: 8:11pm On Aug 19, 2020 |
Ibime: "There are only 20 places in each Cup and codes will be given based on your performance last season and on a first come, first served basis". You completely ignored the part of "based on your performance last season" and just gave the codes to people you are familiar with. It's all good bro. No hard feelings 1 Like |

valenti12: I didn't say it's a "sudden" interest. I asked what your interest in the nairaland fpl league was all about seeing as you do not contribute to the thread in anyway. The nairaland fpl thread has been dying in the last two years despite record participation. Last season the first 15 pages were people all begging for the codes only for the thread to end up in only 25 pages. The aim of the nairaland fpl league is for the nairalanders to have "fun" amongst themselves. If you know you won't be active on the thread throughout the season, then why bother? The very large number of participants have diluted the engagements of the regulars here, that's why I'm campaigning against strangers here joining the league. 5 Likes |

Managers Alexander Stewart and Omoniyi have just been suspended from Carling Cup and Nairaland main league for entering two or more teams. C'mom bro. How will you enter two teams in the same league. So when you face yourself in Carling Cup head2head, you will throw matches against yourself? Anyone who enters two teams will be instantly suspended. FPL is not that serious. 3 Likes

ilotriouzAY: Guy, have a little respect for your fellow competitors please. You registered 4 teams in Carling Cup, we deleted them, now you have gone and registered another two teams which have been deleted again. Because of you, Carling Cup is now locked from further entries. They will play with 20 players this season. Thank you.

Guy... There's little u can do to eliminate these kinds of ppl really. Except keep weeding them out as they come. Locking entrance into the cup isn't a guarantee that u don't already have ppl with duplicate teams in there. U're just depriving other innocent people of the opportunity needlessly. Pls reconsider this decision. D code u sent to me for CC doesn't work again. Ibime: |
Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2020/21 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:27am On Aug 20, 2020 |
RayOB1:Do you think he doesn't have something else to do than weeding out duplicate entries instead of you to support what he's doing or you think he's getting paid for the coordination. Who are the innocent people when an individual is entering 2 or more teams, we take this thing too serious because of the prizes involve failing to realise it's just a game of fun 1 Like |

Carling Cup has now reached it's maximum capacity of 24 teams and will be locked shortly. If you are coming in at this stage, please make do with the Nairaland Main league code on first page as both cups are full |
