Nairalander Observation In Port Harcourt- PICTURES by chino11(m): 8:42pm On Aug 19, 2020 |
I just landed in PORT HARCOURT international airport this morning from Abuja to pick some things I left behind during the corona lockdown. Lo and behold Gov Wike has turned PORT HARCOURT into a massive construction site. I moved around the city, truly governor Wike is working. The whole of the city is under reconstruction particularly New GRA, Old GRA, Ikwerre road, 4 FLYOVERS under construction, massive urban renewal etc. Well this thread is about my tour of Old GRA where Wike has turned around everything for good. Rivers money is working 2 Likes

Under governor Wike PORT HARCOURT is turning a new leaf. Good job my governor. We have the rare privilege for being part of the development partner in the new Rivers state under governor Nyesome Ezebunwo Wike. 2 Likes 1 Share

Amaechi still remain my number1 choice. Amaechi was far better than this Wike both in ease of governing, security, infrastructure and every other thing, Wike is trying sha, if not for his one-sided project and tyranny, I still love him 6 Likes |

I pity people who will fall for Chino's gimmick. dude is a notorious derailer and I assure you that he has sinister motive for creating this thread wait until he sniffs his wife's pucccxy and watch this beautiful thread turned into Somalia. Chino is an unstable character 6 Likes |

Fly over at Rumuola, GRA junction is about 500 meters distance and another one at Garrison. The Governor didn’t care about other 21 LGAs in the state. Only Obio-Akoor and Phalga are meant to be developed. |

Chino landed at Port Harcourt airport! . Tell me which Airport is in Anambra state. Simply say you drove down from Awka to Port Harcourt. If you put in so much energy into creating threads on Awka like you do for PH, Anambra will be a far better place than it is now. 2 Likes |

dukeprince50: Road construction seems the easiest way for governors to syphon public funds. industrialization would've help reduced youth unemployment. If this projects are awarded in a way that the majority of youths will be involved no problem. But for some governors that owns construction companies, self interest & ego is the driving force for most road projects. |

seanfer:Very true... Have u wondered why the name Port Harcourt is more pronounced compared to Rivers State? |
Re: Nairalander Observation In Port Harcourt- PICTURES by seanfer(m): 8:00am On Aug 20, 2020 |
iObEy: Because that’s the only developed area in the state. Other areas are mere villages. |

seanfer:That's might not be the case. Bonny Island is developed too. The reason I think it is so is because, successive governments only focused on Port Harcourt and the Ikwerre villages around them. Everything about government in Rivers State (development-wise) is almost always Port Harcourt alone... There are places in Rivers State that the government of Rivers State always neglect. Some even argue erroneously that they're in Bayelsa... Places like Odual, Ahoada West (Mbiama area). Places in Kalabari etc. |
