That's why people hardly use that option. Try agents for help, their rate may also not be as friendly as that obtainable from using the debit card from your naira dominated account.

They are not suppose to charge customs duty on one personal item like phone and computer which is for personal use but they do charge because the Nigerian public are ignorant. The funny part is that they pocket the money for themselves

Another package, though Cheap item left 14th of June and arrived 17th July... But am yet to receive any message or call

So apparently things are improving with deliveries, although NIPOST is still footdragging seriously. Someone that was supposed to pick up an item for me got there around 4:02pm only to be told that they usually close by 2pm because of Corona. I mean ever since lockdown has been lifted and people asked to resume to work.

An item that's been 114 days in transit suddenly changed status update a huge leap from "dispatched to overseas" in May to delivery today all within 2 days. SMS received for pickup. Singapore Post.

You've been scammed man! Most of the so-called Nipost staff are unscrupulous while handling buyers' packages. In June precisely, I went to pick 2 orders at my local post office. The first is a Blazer while the second is a shirt. I was shocked when the postmistress told me to pay ₦2,000 for both, thinking I was naive to such things, despite the fact that I'm a regular face there. I told her instantly that it's not possible, that my bill is ₦700 for both items (₦500 for the blazer and ₦200 for the shirt), telling her that any order from 0.5kg attracts ₦500 while orders below 0.5kg attracts ₦200. After hearing my explanation, she became speechless and didn't know what else to say. I eventually payed ₦1000 for the 2 order, dashing her the balance of ₦300 for her call credit and time spent reaching me. When you know your right, nobody can cheat you!

It's possible to still receive your order if it was shipped by the seller. Counting from May, I've received about 6 orders which later arrived after I'd already been refunded by Aliexpress.

Finally good news. I went to the Ikeja PO yesterday and they tracked my package and told me it just reached Nigeria today (yesterday) and that it will get to them today or Friday. I was so glad. Since April.
Decided to track it today to see the progress and voila!
Probably going to go on Monday to pick it up instead of Tomorrow so they won't give excuses that it hasn't been processed finish or something.

Just got back from the post office and my package wasn't there.
A woman there also said that since Monday that they had started to update on their site as usual.
the wait continues.
