CuteVally: First things first - Don't be under any illusions, #1 million is not a lot of money! Having said that I think you should move out but look for a self-contained room or mini flat and gradually work your way up 6 Likes |

Landed property will consume almost all the funds, you could start with a renting a mini flat since you are not married yet and continue to grow the rest of the funds Cheers 1 Like |

Im in my 20s, earn close to 4m annually net, and still live with my parents. At this point in my life, "freedom" is the least of my worries. Trying to build a very solid foundation for myself (career) first while I enjoy the free accommodation and feeding. Life will become easier for you bro. Think this through. 18 Likes 3 Shares |

Don't be in a rush to pack out, are they chasing you?. Buy the land as it is an investment or start a profitable business, be profit oriented and take advantage of the fact you are not burdened with the responsibility of paying rent for the next year or two. |

Re: Age 25 With 1 Million Naira & Living With My Parents: Buy Land Or Pack Out? by chibike69: 10:18pm On Aug 20, 2020 |
CuteVally: Guy buy that land If you know that the land will appreciate in upcoming years. I'm talking from experience. No rush oo If you rent and furnish your apartment, small time na to dey brings girls in and out. Remember, 1 million naira is too small. Unless you have a steady income sha. Investment matters a lot. Try to understand what is a liability and an asset. 8 Likes |

CuteVally: OP, nobody uses his life savings to buy fixed assets... Please all those telling you to get a land aren't making sense. I would advise you, don't go renting a one bedroom apartment just get a self contained apartment start from there to plan your life and be prayerful then use some of the money to start /run a small side business and if you have graduated look for job to keep ur income sustainable.Things will surely fall in to place. I left my parents house at 21 and it really helped me alot. Don't keep staying there, it won't help you. 10 Likes 1 Share |
