Prechgold1180: That "small money" to you is someone else's ' big investment capital'. Thing is, the volume of money one has isn't that important, it is how one invests it to ensure continued multiplication effects that really matters. |

[quote author=CuteVally post=93038076]Good evening Nairalanders. Please i need an advice on the next step i should take in life. I am a guy, 25 years of age and still living with my parents, though i am not jobless but recently my bank account just hit one million and 200 thousand naira. Well young man I tell you what, and please don't take it as an offence calling you young man, two questions. Can you still afford to stay at home with pop and mom for another two years. Are you comfortable doing everything a young man does without pop and mom using an x-ray to screen all you do? If you answered yes to those questions then stay home The reason is after two years you become uncomfortable with that arrangements you can sell that landed property and move out. Mind you every landed property in the right location is an investment I bet you you will make over 100% ROI. And you can keep the landed property and build on it in future. Look you can still make another 1M in two years time but that land is not going to be 1M in 2 years time. |

Acidosis: I also approve of this message Buying illiquid assets with most of your networth is nothing short of economic foolishness Now I know why many Nigerians are always in financial quagmire |

Buy a land,it never depreciates. Since you have a steady source of income, rent a low budget house with just a bed in it, monthly u get few furniture n fittings.. and try to increase your savings. Well-done dear. |

ayesco202: Hope you know it’s the demand and supply of a fiat currency versus. Crypto currency that determines the Cypto currency rate ( erethreum or bitcoin is anyone ) In order words if you used 1.2 million naira to buy bitcoin or erethreum today and the price falls like by 5 percent or so you will less than 1.2 m you initially invested Like that over time it may fluctuate of which if you leave it over time you may find it’s worth nothing or preferbly it’s worth 100 times more No one really can tell or knows The people cashing out on bitcoin now was the people who bought and never sold when 1 bitcoin was less than 1,000 dollars or so 1 Like |

You should do neither! N1 mil, no bi moni, that is like $2,300.00. If you must do either, I will advise you buy the land as an investment....moving out, when there is no need to, is an unnecessary expenses. Finally, double hustle. |
