Thing is, the war in N.E is a DHQ effort. I still stand with the opinion that the issue lies at the liaison sphere. How effective is NA-NAF communication.

I believe with good planning DHQ can keep platforms tied to response for great distress .

The way I imagine it is like contour lines drawn across the theatre with the lines/spheres representing Attack frequency, Distance and Level of support needed. That way, there could be platforms spared for such a prom.

Oga our soldiers becoming weak and tactically ineffective cos of "CAS" and air support , that is suppose to save lives of troops, preserve them for another engagement, reduce cost in training of a single soldiers and ensure that the army is service not a cannon fodder killing field system.

Air strikes being conducted by the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE under the subsidiary Operation HAIL STORM have continued to yield tangible results. The latest of these is the destruction of several Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) structures and neutralization of their fighters at Warshale in the Northern part of Borno State on 19 August 2020.
The mission was executed after credible intelligence reports and series of aerial surveillance missions established that the settlement was one of those being used by the terrorists as staging area to launch attacks. Accordingly, the Air Task Force dispatched Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and attack helicopters, which engaged the location recording devastating hits resulting in the obliteration of several structures as well as the neutralization of some of the terrorists.
The Armed Forces of Nigeria, operating in concert with other security agencies and stakeholders, will sustain its efforts to rid the North East of all terrorists and other criminal elements.

Synergy btw both service is key and this is where effective 24/7 real-time communication comes to play. The US military have perfected the symbiotic relationship btw US army and USAF that's why they're almost invincible whenever there Airforce is actively involved in operations. This can only be achieved at Defence HQ level as you said, but first of all do we as a nation have a fighting doctrine?
Secondly, I don't think we've built critical infrastructure to support the technology to properly implement what you said. The satellites we've being spending billions on sending to space nobody know how far if it's still functional, we like embarking on projects for "ego" sake.
There are brilliant battle plans but the problem is having the requisite resources to domestic and implement them. A chunk of NA's budget still goes for recurrent expenditure though they're doing their best sha, they even advertised vacancy for UAV pilots this year, last year it was rotor wing Pilots, I want to believe they've already started putting in place infrastructure to support their expected Air assets.
