chrisooblog: Musa actually flopped in the EPL but was still outstanding for the SE agreed, after playing in the middle east does he still have it ❓ KC is a flop in the EPL but above average competence in the SE. Kayode was on fire in the Austrian league but did not get a run of games in the SE. A flop I disagree, he needs to prove quality for now way down the list. Umar has been at best very average in better leagues but was totally abysmal in Rangers. He has gone to the backwaters of Europe and has been very good not the best in the league. He needs to upgrade his league and club and prove he has quality. I noticed a player rejected by Arsenal dismissed at WBA is now becoming the best left winger in Europe. The one consistent thing of football is CHANGE either up or down. |

musa did well in russia and holland yes saudi league is low level but won't use that to say (yet) he has lost it. happy you used the gnabry example flopping in EPL is not the end of the world. still insist it's premature to call KC a flop in the EPL. Kayode struggled in Spain and Ukraine but is finding his feet in Turkey. he was given good game time in the SE still needs to prove himself. Umar yes struggled in scotland but how much game time was he given coupled with the fact that gerrard totally didn't rate him. again like the gnabry example you cited just because a coach doesn't rate you doesn't mean you can't turn the corner. the bold is the reason I argue with you sometimes because of the fluid nature of football i can't declare someone as a categorical flop. Solanke could wake up on the right side of the bed tomorrow start bagging goals in the EPL. you can criticize a player when he's obviously not performing to expectations but when he starts doing better and turning the corner it would be unfair to the player to start doubting him based on passed performances. it will be like insisting thierry henry is a seria a when he later turned out to be one of the greatest players of his generation. so if people are happy and see encouragement in Iheanacho and nwakali's recent games let them be. football is a funny game you can be a late boomer like drogba, vardy etc or progress naturally. it's all about improving your game. komekn: 2 Likes |

your comparison is deceptive. besides how many games did Ilori play? if Ilori did so well he would have been signed up by French or Spanish clubs plus he's 4 years older than Awaziem modified forgiveness: 1 Like |

elyte89: "for a player who plays in an elite club" - all you're concerned about is the clubs they play for. What if the players are doing better than the ones in the so called elite clubs??. Now both players are on loan, if the loan deal expires and a player like Ighalo for example goes back to his pension football, what basis will justify his inclusion to the national team?? our players re just dere...average, nothing special - All of the players at their ages are at a higher level Ighalo and Moses were at their age. And if we don't give them chance to prove themselves, how will they get to the level Vicmo and Ighalo reached with the national team??. or we should stick with Ighalo and Moses till the other players move to elite clubs |

VICMO had a shot cleared off the line. I do think you should blame the coach calling up mediocre players and the NFF, taking such an important match against Egypt to Kaduna, knowing fully well the weather will affect our players adversely... chrisooblog: 1 Like |
