I was referred and joined this group but then what I’m seeing here is just too different.

I want to call some of us on attention (esp. Mr felicity) you see one thing about life is you can’t know there’s more opportunities await you until you drop that thing you have.

I learnt a lot from driverprenuer which I did practice and it’s works for me. So what I learnt is that you have to take risk and pray

I collected a 500k Loan from a family member and borrowed 50k join from wifey did you know I got a civic 04 for 500k and I did all the repairs 38k including wash and clean.

Today I’m a car owner (I got this car July) although am still paying the loan at my convenience. But not everyone will get this kind of luck.

What I would advice for rentee Is that make una try and buy cheap car for yourself. Is not easy for car owners buying millions and seeing cheap money they will want to frustrate like selling the car off.

HP no Dey too give headache because Na driver go maintain the car.

Let’s leave reign on here. We’re family here some of us joined here to learn things. I did rental for months I can tell you is not easy for driver neither owner too cos that money you giving them, Na wetting dem they use pay car loans and repairs too. Nothing good and free than you get your own thing. @felicity try and press some button if you can get a loan and the interest is minimal please get your own car

Bellow is my civic

Vol 1

Boss I respect you and nothing will ever change that. But ine thing I will never accept is you painting me black.

I can challenge you to please go ahead and say what ever dirt you think or feel I have for the 7months of partnership we had.

From the very start (Oct/Nov, 2019) when you contacted me via my ads here to drive for you I told you I can't do anything more than 25k weekly. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

The contract papers you're currently using now I composed it and after making and printing my you asked me do some extra copies for you for other of your cars which you also asked me to state 30k weekly. we had a mutual agreement on 25k. So pls kindly tell me where I bridge the contract. Remember I even offered to do minor repairs that's less than 10k but you said no all repairs will be on you, due to your international exposure I then presumed you're making use of the standard over there then I followed every of your guidelines since date till this week. Feel free to expose anything you think contrary I'm saying here... I have records as well.

Boss with all due respect I'm challenging you to please counter or correct me if anything I'm putting up here is printed in lies then expose what ever claims you have with proof.

Now, From Octobet you kept posting me about thr car not being ready till mid Janurary, 2020 that i called you that I'm tired of waiting for a car I don't even know exist while I watch several other opportunities pass by. This was when You gave me contact of your painter, same day I went to his workshop in shasha where I took pictures of the car and sent to you. This was 15/01/2020. Car finally left his place some days after and to another mechanic in ikeja along where a change of oil, breakpads, linkage, tyriod and the right brake lining was carried. The following week I took car to ladipo where a change of tyers and rims was done from 14 to 15 rims. Days later the Reg No was installed. I followed up on all of these myself for about 2 week before car started work on 27th of January, 2020.

Part 1.....

1. You talk too much..... Old proverb... '' walls have ears"

2. During covid, I asked you to drop my car until things get better.. You said business is slow you have to feed your family etc ..like me I dont have family or my family didnt like to eat food.. You said you will be able to pay 10k naira etc .. That 10k naira came with complain, you are tired etc. Just complaining left and right etc .. I told you several times I rather you drop the car . That 10k naira does nothing for me ..

3. When we sign the agreement before covid for 25k naira rental instead of 30k ... you said at the time the business is tough etc ,you are family man etc ...I said fine . Keep in mind you begged me to give you car after me and you clash on the forum about a topic u responded to .. You apologize

4. You didn't tell them that few days ago. You drove my car to Benin and to Ondo state , for personal and business purposes. You claim you had Offline trip for 50k naira .. We knew of the offline trip ,when we got a call from police because you got into an accident.. The police call the owner to verify ownership of the vechicle.. That is how my team knew about your outside trip outside Lagos..

5. You were given 14k naira by the person that was at fault.. The bumper was fix, but yet to be painted

6. You feel very entitled.. I can recall when we went to Radauto to have the car checked .. I order for some food and you order too .. You than either told them to bill me for it or you ask me to pay.. However it was a weird situation at the time , didn't carry much cash with me . Or maybe because you saw me dash a small boy 1k hawking during traffic on 3rd mainland Bridge on our way to Radauto.. Maybe you felt I was father Xmas that day , but I was observing you, that day sha including the way you drive etc .. I kept notes

7. You complain too much about every little thing, I spent so much money putting the car together to fit your taste. Every little thing you complain and I made sure those things were taken care of .. Some of those complain could have waited ....

8. All your rambling at the car wash , I hear am all the way from Lagos to the USA .. I will not go into details on that.

9. You don't know how to separate business and personal relationship...... No need to go into details , am a business man and not a philanthropist.

10. During covid and after covid the car was over 85% in working order. I know how much I put the car in order for your satisfaction, your previous car that you were using for uber can't be compare to the one that I gave you . Any other complains were minor ..
You complain that car might be using a lot of fuel .. So I had Ayo check it out and he found out the Cabin Canister attached to fuel was abit weak ,but it is still ok for now and manageable.. But I order for new one (picture below) and other items for my other cars .....

11. With you it was complain left and right. Either your back is paining you or uber is this or that ,how can a family man survive with uber this and that.. About less than two weeks ago . You complain front needs tire , ok go ladipo buy tire for 5k naira and remove it from your 10k naira rental.....

12. People might be wondering why am I exposing this guy. Am doing this for many reasons, anybody out there that wants to work for dru23. Make sure you come correct especially if you from nairaland, depending how serious the matter is you will be expose .... Am very calculated person .. I have nothing to hide and you will expose to the fullest........

13. Ayodele was not aware that my team will be collecting the car from you. So don't blame him for your problems .. When the parts arrived for the car and my other cars , he was called to do his job only ,we didn't discuss anything with him . As a matter of fact when you brought the car , you were demanding he fixes the car right away and ignore the other car he was fixing.. And stated that the car needs brakes ,linkage etc .. Mean while you have not painted the bumper from your accident outisde Lagos trip .. And the 50k naira offline trip you didnt give us money out of it ,nor did we ask for it. All these time I was watching you and taking my time ..

And you had the guts to say that the manner which the car was collected from you was unprofessional and cruel etc.. Do you expect us to give you 90 days notice ? So that you can have enough time to damage and remove parts from the car smh ......

When I was telling you I rather have my car park at my place during lockdown, and you refuse because you want feed family etc , it is now when lock down is over I will than give you 90 days quit notice? Smh.

Conclusion: I am business man ,My team and I have gone above and beyond to work with you .. We also try to accommodate your personal needs with business needs. I am here to make money.. I have my own personal responsibility too .. I am not father Xmas or bill Gates Foundation... please try and learn from this and make adjustments..

Maybe you should have your carbon canister checked if it uses one ...
May be the culprit for your car's high fuel consumption..

Vol 2:

Thank goodness you corrected that notion because I've all of my receipts in tact including the once I did from wife's acct which was as a result of me not being able to meet up due to weeks I travel to Benin or fell ill to aviod stories I borrow from her to pay my rental to you.

The only times I know I didn't complete payment for a week was due to the days car didn't work to repairs and like you usually do it your drivers pay for days car is sound to work. And these days are very few even, and on one occasion I still paid you 25k despite car didnt work for about 3days. You said I should pay the days it work but i insisted to pay full since I was able to generate extra out of the usual 25k.

The first and only time I meet you was when you visited prior to that we'd only exchange convo via WhatsApp chats and calls. Reason I alwayd refer to my boss as madam because na she give me keys, nevertheless, I didn't disrespect non discount your ownership or person.

I came early to pick you and we went to radautoworks to fix the pvc valve wjen the car was going off intermittently and the other occasion we went out was going to ladipo to fix the special bolt that was making the car have a cranking noise during simulation. Ayo and I did the other repairs same week or there about when we were experiencing oil shortage and legs problems.

Fast forward to covid-19 lockdown. Car was under my custody all throughout with all app shortdown, would you had expected I go online? Or do kabu kabu. Yes, God so kind I got a particular rider in my area pre covid who I usually carry to and fro to yaba isolation centre gor construction and with the connect I was able to get a pass for movement yet I didn't abuse it but only go out the few days he called. And all of this I informed you about it much later. You car has a tracker and I believe you can track all of my movement from Jan till the day you deceptively ask me to drop it

After the lockdown, we again had a conversation and agreement, you said other of your drivers are doing 15k but me I told you i can only do 10k at the moment due to the following reasons:

1) I do only UBER since my Bolt account had been blocked.
2) Uber 3% was the only reason I was able to stay afloat all along after the lockdown its no more till now.
3) Low request on UBER due to the effect of covid-19.
4) Curfew, night clubs are lockdown, Int'l flight, religious and social gatherings aka owanbe are non available
5) High fuel consumption due to a faulty carbon whatever (only your mechanic blackshiphop) can elaborate on that. This is taking a huge chunk of my earnings every day.

With all due respect boss how do you think one can do 20-25k weekly under all of these situation.

Yes I understand your frustration but like you always day its business so dont take it personal.

I'm not the cause of COVID-19 so why should I bear the burnt? We negotiated and had an agreement on how much to be paid on rental why then would you say on two different occasions that you're doing me a favour to rent your property to me at an initial agreed amount? Despite that I still didn't change the sincere person I am to you.

Now, few weeks back I did an interstate travel with the car to Akure then to Benin to settle pending issue at my farm which i couldn't travel as usual due to the Inter state lockdown, madam scoud me you frown at it and I apologise and promise it will not repeat itself again. But for heaven sake why can't I travel with a car in paying rent for? Mind you you've never for once mentioned it to me before so what is my crime or dirt you claim I have that you wanna expose?

The accident I was involved in I fixed the car myself without calling for you assist because I understand the times we are in. Boss how many of your drivers have ever spent a dine on your car from time immemorial? Ask blackbishop he will attest to a few.

Contracts are always meant to be review not the way you carried out your action that I should bring the car for repairs and then you already order your mechanic to ground the car due to repairs.

The truth is people would always think their father's farm is the biggest not until they visit another man's farm. I learnt a few things working with you and that will help to shape my future.

Thank you for the opportunity to work under you fleet and I knoe i can walk talk with my shoulders high to the mountains that my records are clean.

Drop Mic!

Chop knockle boss. You still be correct man.

My mindset and what motivated me was seeing people using eod, suv and v6 doing this hustle.

Don’t buy hybrid civic And so far any car is your own, you’ll do good.

Thank you for choosing to drive and earn with Bolt.

As you may have heard in the news, the Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Transport recently provided a detailed list of requirements for ride-hailing companies and drivers to meet in order to continue operating in Lagos.

Our team has continued ongoing engagement with the regulators on behalf of drivers to ensure that the final rules are not disruptive to your ability to continue to earn with your car. We continue to pursue these discussions to gain further clarity on the revised requirements and ensure that all drivers can easily obtain all additional documents now required to drive and earn in Lagos. Further information on this process will be communicated in the near future.

While Bolt will be responsible for the licensing fees and other financial commitments to the State Government under these new regulations, these additional documents will now be required to drive with Bolt or any other ride-hailing company in Lagos:

New Additional Driver Documents

Lagos State Drivers' Institute Driver's Recertification Card (LASDRI Card) - ₦2,000
Driver Badge issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services - ₦4,000
Lagos State Resident Registration Agency (LASRRA) Card at no cost.
New Additional Vehicle Documents

State Hackney Permit issued by the Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA) - ₦4,000
Vehicle Body Tag (All Routes) issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services - ₦6,000
All additional documents require yearly renewals & are obtainable at designated one-stop centers to be announced in the coming days.

Virtual Partners Roundtable for Drivers, Car Owners & Fleet Partner

To help you gain further insight into these new regulations and provide answers to other important questions you may have while adhering to social distancing guidelines and speaking to as many drivers as possible, we will be hosting a virtual driver roundtable next week.

More details will be shared soon.

Kindly send us your feedback and questions ahead of the event here.

P.S: These new requirements go into effect on the 27th of August 2020, and drivers will have 90 days to get all the requirements to be able to continue to drive and earn in Lagos.

Hybrid600:
If any partnership has come to an end, let it remain so without any bad blood or fights or arguments...
We can't afford to see 5 pages in the future that's filled with fights...
Let peace and love lead...

To those always crying about LG boys or lastma arresting them especially when they're aware they have done wrong by intentionally blowing one way or passing the BRT lane, make una STOP am...
Obey all traffic rules and regulations....

Is there anyway the Lagos ministry of transport can be alerted to having proper and visible road signage placed especially on ONE WAY roads ?

God bless our hustle....

This is part of what you guys should focus on instead of wasting so much energy on exchanging words and digressing the forum.
