what do you mean he doesn't know what he wants? Do you know what his buyout clause money is? How many clubs can pay such? He has to wait till he is legally a free agent under the club contract. Do u think Barcelona is SOooooooo stupid to allow Messi leave their club as a free agent, instead of making huge cash from his buyout clause or negotiations on their own terms? They are not crazy stupid. If Messi is going, they have to sell him to make money, so they will pay him whatever amount he needs to stay within a buyout clause phase. It will be super stupid of Messi and super ungrateful of him and a classic betrayal if he just announces publicly he wants to leave without any club having made commitment to buy him. Any error now and he has a nagging injury his form might be lost forever. So this is the perfect time for him to go. Human wants are insatiable. Everyone can understand that. It is normal. And then it is good for Barcelona, because if they sell Messi now, they can raise the kind of money they need to build another formidable squad. But no matter what, football is a team sport and having a good team will always surpass individual brilliance or extraordinary ability. Messi alone can't do it all the time and this reality is showing because for some time now, Barca hasn't been focused on building a solid team. They have been putting all the load on Messi. If they wait too long, Messi will get too old and his value will be dropping the older he gets at this time, for major European clubs, except they want to sell him to China as a trophy player, which I doubt Messi wants to end his career in such a place or way. And the club buying him too, they can still gain from the huge money they spent to buy him now that his legs are still fresh, and not a waste when he gets too old mentally and in good form-cally and his legs are too tired to dribble again.
