But before we dabble into any religious book, i'll like us to use our God's given brains to think of the attributes we can see in a person before we will say "he's a child of the devil" or "he's a child of God". If we're to start discussing on different stories found in different books we'll never be able to figure out the will of either God or Satan!

I'm not yet through with the QUALITIES God saw in them before making them his messengers!


QUALITIES involves
Where does he come from?
Who are his parents?
Were they exemplary citizens in their lifetime?
What type of life does he live?
Did he ever got married? How?
Did he have children? From how many women?
Does he have any regard for the Authority?
How does he treat other people's belongings?
How did he die?
How many of his children survived him?
What happened to his followers immediately after his death?

All these will give us a clear picture of the character we revere as a messenger of the TRUE God!

I agree but the main will of satan is to divert people from worshiping one and only true God not necessarily all this things you have counted. You might worship satan and yet not do all this things you mentioned.

Satan did same thing to jesus he only wants people to worship him instead of God.
He told jesus to worship and bow for him that he will give him everything of the world and Jesus said he will only worship God.

For satan to even tempt Jesus he knew he had a chance if not the word (tempt) should not be used... Because i know satan cant tempt God...

Of course Satan capitalize on the things our flesh enjoys to achieve his own goal!
Note that Jesus was tempted with three things

(1) Hunger, Satan knew that God just concluded talking to Jesus about how he (Jesus) will accomplish his task, it took God 40 days and 40 nights to impact in Jesus all those information, this same thing happened to Moses too. During those days both of them had no time for food, so Satan wanted to seize the opportunity to make Jesus use his God's given power for himself!

(2) Impatience, the place Jesus was taken was far away from home but if he wants to get home earlier there is a shortcut, he only needed to jump from the mountain top and get home quickly.

(3) Selfishness, Jesus must organize corulers who will rule with him, he need to train them and get them prepared for the task ahead.

Let's take this one step after another, Jesus is NOT the Almighty God, that's the fallacy taught by the ancient Roman Catholic Church, it has no backing in the scriptures!
