Any other team would also have problems. Carlisle is a problem coach. Doncic was still unknown, but he plays like a disciplined Harden.

Actually the way the clippers have played them makes me fear clippers more. They are deep enough to take any team. They are coming out of the west easy after this series.
Carlisle is an elite coach. Na that Heat vs Mavericks series I confirm am. Any ordinary coach not named Pop or Phil would have lost that series 4-1 after Game 3.

He and Nick Nurse are still the best for me.

My only problem is Luka's consistent spamming of 3's ala Harden. If he had more of a Kawhi, LeNomad shot selection I think he has an even higher offensive ceiling as I believe he is the best passer in the league bar none

I agree that any team in the league would have problems against the Mavs.

However, there is also the PG issue here. A Porzingi-less mavs are not supposed to take you to OT especially when you have that top 2. PG has really been dissapointing.

The thing is Doncic dey average over 30 points with over 50% shooting. I am beginning to wonder which defence him dey play self. Perhaps he's preventing him from averaging 40/45. That's not bad. grin

No talk that one oooo. I thought Lebron is the best passer. grin

The Mavericks have the best offensive rating in league history this season. Luka is running an orchestra out there. Luka is the best passer to anyone with functioning eyes

If I'm Giannis if I can't go to the Heat I'm going straight to the Mavs. A frontcourt of Porzingis and Giannis would be match made in heaven on both ends

He's 21. The defensive side will take some time to hone. But what he does on the other end is so difficult to stop

Im not referring to just the lakers blazers series. Its an issue the blazers have had all season. Imo there is no favorite here - blazers are guard dominant, and the Lakers are shorthanded at the back court positions. Lakers have bigs, but Blazers have skilled bigs that are not yet factors, but can be. Which to me means this can go 7 games because playoffs really are about matchups.
Guy stop this yarn. LeNomad and AD are significantly better than Lillard and McCollum and have a huge size advantage. Are you for real?

Who are the skilled bigs? Hasan Whiteside? Abeg x3

Abeg you guys have had your chance. Make e spread. Steph and Klay are 32 and 30. Why should I go and join them when I can grow with young and hungry Luka
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 1:04am On Aug 24, 2020
i was actually referring to PG claiming he's doing other things including defending. he must be doing a lot of defending giving that the 21 year old is averaging over 30 points with over 50% shooting. cheesy

Kawhi better ask them to trade him. Someone that plays crap and can't own up to it but would rather blame someone else will never win you shyte. I fear for the Clippers if their supposed second best guy has this mentality. It's a serious problem

You can see the anger in his Kawhi’s face during the final stretch of both games. The man is frustrated and if not managed properly and immediately and going by his history he would be out of LA. Infact he does not mind sitting out next year feigning injury. Doc Rivers was late with his adjustments to how the Mavs played in the 3rd and deep into the 4th.

Baba, I don’t think so. I wrote a detailed post about this even before he moved to LA. The man has developed a bad habit that he is now unable to shake off. Some say it’s because of his injury but I was convinced he was heading the wrong path trying to cheat on offense because of his new found love for jacking up threes.

Some players just dont have that ice in their veins when it matters. PG13 just keeps shrinking game by game.
As for Luka, he is not just special he also has a knack for the big plays

You know where I stand on Doc Rivers. I no too rate am like that. He had that loaded Clippers team and failed to get them to a conference Final

If he loses in the first round he should be axed.

Kawhi has a 2 year contract with a player option. Onus is on the Clippers. Suprised Kawhi was oblivious of PG's choky ways to want to go out of his way to play with him

I am vexing on Kawhi's behalf sef. At this point, one has to think the Clippers would have been better off keeping the players they had to exchange to get the Pandemic one. Or maybe gone for a player like Butler. This Pandemic dude is an unrepentant choker.

Nope no chance. I saw a stat that read NBA teams are 136-0(not sure exactly) after going 3 Nil down

No chance until some team does it. Remember Cleveland Cavaliers' 3-1 2016 comeback. No team had ever come back to win the finals from 3-1 down .

The Jazz and Denver are similar in so many ways and different in a few. J. Murray wants all the smoke after a poor showing in game 3.
