Very rubbish set of liars, fraudsters, 419ers and scammers.
I hope that Edo people, especially the youths are working from door to door in every city, town and village to ensure their state does not suffer the same fate as Lagos under Ogbeni Ojuyobo who keeps increasing taxes, levies, charges, tolls, fines, rates, penalties for IGR into his bullion vans.

Where's your Lucky Igbinedon, a contemporary of Tinubu, in the political space of Nigeria today?

But Tinubu is still very much alive and on the field of politics playing politics while 95% of his contemporaries in 1999 have gone into oblivion.

It's God, no be Tinubu.

Sentiments apart, Obaseki has little or no achievement to warrant him contesting for 2nd term. That guy is on thesame league with Ekpeazu of Abia state and that one in Kogi state.

[quote author=Eriokanmi post=93138481]Who said he owned it before? Na lies and idleness go kee una finish. Na same lie una lie enter government , come dabaru everything finish . If anybody attacks you or ask why did you fail on the promises you made to clinch power, una go tell the pesin say na hate speech im bin dey yearn, make im come pay 5m naira fine.

The duty of every government is to create an enabling environment for business to thrive and once this is done, people of the state would be employed, state would develop economically and revenue would enter government pocket too in the form of tax and royalties and that's exactly what obaseki has done. It was the efforts of obaseki that led into the success of the refinery. It was through the same wrongly publicised MOU that brought Peiyang Chemical Equipment Company of China to Edo state which gave birth to the modular refinery, same way his MOU brought the largest ceramics company in west Africa to edo during oshiomohle's administration, the efforts which osho so much appreciated and declared obaseki was the brain behind his administration's success, before the going went wrong between them. The apc should have asked how far about the similar moduar refineries launched in the niger delta as led by prof osinbajo. The modular refineries are neither here nor there as nothing meaningful has been done there so far. Edo modular refinery would be first of its kind in nigeria. What do these apc people take us for in edo sef? Stop embarassing yourselves guys. You said your campaigns would be issues-based but all we've seen so far are propaganda and lies[/

Liar this is fake. Edo is not the first. There is a modular refinery and petrochemical in akwa ibom. One ongoing in IMO, there is really nothing new here another in rivers so this is really not new. What me am asking and the generality of Edo people is for the governor to name just five projects u started and completed in 4 years. Surprising to know most second term governors are audio governor he will not do anything different from what we have seen.

@ ayclem01 , I meant first of its kind to have attained that level of completion, soon to commence operation. I didnt say first of its kind in nigeria in existence. But you saw where I mentioned the ones VP osinbajo came to niger-delta to inaugurate so, how could I have said its first of its kind in Nigeria to be in existence? Please seek clarification before you say one is lying. Read comments to understand too and not to just attack baselessely. Some of those you mentioned even started construction before the edo modular refinery.

Be that as it may, the difference between edo governor and other governors is between land and skies. In Nigeria, all what you hear most governors do is sink boreholes, buy vehicles for chiefs, give money out to people to share as we always see etc. They embark on short term projects where they could embezsle and leave crumbs behind. obaseki's projects are mainly capital and long term ones. That doesn't mean he deserted road construction but he doesn't make noise about it. Its suppsed to be seen as normal. I'm aware of the modular refineries you mentioned especially the akwa ibom and imo ones. Seplat is one of the beneficiaries in that region . None of them is at the advanced stage as seen in edo refinery. The reason being that, some individuals wanted to set up some while in edo 2 firms pulled resources together. I work with facts and I have my facts in my hands. That was why I said in my previous comment that they were neither here nor there. In case you're from edo and you've suddenly forgotten, the largest ceramics industry in west Africa which obaseki went to China to bring to Nigeria when Oshiomohle was in power was completed in 6.5 years, not 4. The power plant is near completion. The refinery is over 80% completion. You can go there and see as its open for visit to edolites. I've been there myself, been to the power plant too. The power plant serving the ceramics company and host community was completed in 5 years not 4. Ask the fed govt while the gelegele port hasn't taken off, not obaseki. Alot of government policies at work.

The marble plant at ikpeshi is going to be massive when completed next year. I can go on and on. In etsako, obaseki empowered farmers who are mainly rice farmers and not only in etsako. I knew about the etsako projects because it's close to my local govt in akoko edo and one of the beneficiariesis a close friend. Its same in every local govt. Tractors were bought, harvesters were shared with them and soft loans were given. Google it if in doubt. Major newspapers carry am.

Now, did you know obaseki had equipped and built more primary health centres mostly in the remote towns and villages, tarred roads but nobody is making mouth about it. Its because its a normal thing a governor should do to the people unlike some who would be showing same on television 2km roads constructed and sponsor same on channels tv or AIT. I've seen a governor from the east show 2km roads on tv and where he was sharing kerosene to people, lool.

Obaseki campaigned in edo central yesterday near uromi and told the people he didn't come to just campaign but to also commision the road projects there, which he first did before mounting the podium. Oshomole didn't near that place in 8 years, because they were not apc-dominated areas. He also promised to do more to them. He could have come on air to show people but he's not that type as we know. My coming here is to put certain things right as lots of people have been misled here with lies and they're mostly not from edo. This isn't nice.

I'm yet to find where the governor claimed the project. He always indicated support. Except comprehension is not your forte. Anyway, the company acknowledges the support and spoke about the 700million naira fund it got from Edo State Government on TV as shown by Channels. They even credited the state government on their website.
