elyte89: You are talking funny... No serious person will rate a player as world class or average based on how many trophies they won... Coman hasn't even scored up to 50 professional career goals.. How much effort did he even put into winning the trophies? Individual performances matter a lot... that's define a player..winning trophy is more of a tea effort than an individual player effort.. Somebody like Totti didn't win many trophies throughout his career but is easily one of the best players of his generation..thats world class with little trophy. Of course, I know this post was targeted at Ndidi.. 2 Likes |

komekn: Onyekuru,Kalu,Simon and Imoh Ezekiel are wingers too.. And they light up tue Belgian league.. Even better than Bolaise.. Have u ever taken time to praise them for their exploit in the league? Of course not.. U think Iwobi can't hold his own against a player like Bolaise?? |

if for example ejuke drops 5 goals 3 assists in russia to kalu who say drops 2 goals 1 assist in france knowing rohr samuel would likely get the call up. ejuke would have to drop very good stats to attract Gernot's attention if he goes to russia. Russia might have a better status but Belgium enjoys a better reputation when it comes to buying players from their league andrewbaba44: 1 Like |

exactly my point. if he won a WC or UCL you would definitely have watched him play and know if he's really world class but somebody born today in 20 years time if you say sterling was world class will ask you who you're talking about andrewbaba44: |

chrisooblog: Not because he didn’t win the ucl that I didn’t watch him ,maybe because he was playing in the Portuguese league You don’t need to win a World Cup or ucl before I consider you world class Players like maxi Perriera Luisão where considered as world class players while playing in the Portuguese league ,these players didn’t smell the ucl or World Cup |

andrewbaba44: Totti could have easily gone anywhere.. Barca,Madrid,Juve,Man u, anywhere.. He was that good! But he decided to stay with Roma. Even Gerrard could have joined Chelsea and won the premier league..but he decided to stick with Liverpool.. Both players are easily among the best of their generation.. Somebody like Coman with more career trophies than them can't isn't fit to hold the brush to polish their boots |

see now dennis is attracting offers i'm sure because of his brace against R.Madrid at the bernabau in the UCL but we're not even sure he is better than ejuke. yet he it looks like he's going to a highly rated club in one of the top 5 european leagues but ejuke is headed to russia andrewbaba44: |

Etebo still wants to move on from Stoke City even after the arrival of Mikel. The player first showed he was discontented with his situation at Stoke and as a result was loaned to Getafe. He is not short of interests. |

chrisooblog: Maybe.. But for the past 3 seasons,he has been consistent in the EPL.. The primary function of a DMF is to break up opponents play and provide cover for the defence.. that means tackles, interception and passing.. Ndidi has always been among the top tacklers and interceptors in the EPL and the whole of Europe for the past 3 seasons.. Even before he joined Leicester,he had the most successful tackle in the Europa league! He was among the top 5 tacklers at the world cup despite playing only 3 games! He is doing his job well... Maybe he isn't world class, but right now he is among the best defensive midfielders in the world! |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 3:18pm On Aug 24, 2020 |
alot of them will prefer him to join brighton or reims instead cska moscow is a big club in russia and steady performers in the uel. the russian leagues is miles better than the dutch 1st tier while cska is a massive club when compared to heereveen. ejuke is still young so two seasons of good performance will catapult him to any of the top 4 leagues in europe, moreover 12 million euros is too good for heereveen to turn down. least we forget russian clubs pay their players well andrewbaba44: |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 3:23pm On Aug 24, 2020 |
chrisooblog: Dennis is not attracting offers because he scored brace against Madrid alone ,Dennis is attracting offers because he has been good So ejuke playing in Russia means the end ? The last time I checked a player joined psg from the Russian league and played in yesterday final and also played in the semi finals and the one purchased from the better epl was benched ,ejuke going to Russia is not the end okay Ejuke might have a better career than some players playing in the top league ,you never can tell 1 Like 1 Share |

charlesemeka85: Moving from Netherlands to Russia isnt really a step up.. The Russian league may be ranked higher than the Dutch league, but it's not better... The Dutch league has a better pedigree when it comes to developing young players than Russia.. But CSKA Moscow is a big team! Regular competitors in Europe.. That is the biggest advantage I can see here.. A few season of good football in the league and European competitions could see him move to a top 5 league.. |

they forgot that our own musa made the leap from venlo to cska many years ago where he became a household name in the Moscow based club and the league i foresee ejuke who is more talented and gifted than musa to reap the russian top flight to shreds which in the nearest future will gain him a move to a bigger league andrewbaba44: 4 Likes 1 Share |
