Chris Paul really willed that team to a win today. Quite the performance from him and Dennis in the 4th. I'm sure he would rather die than lose to Harden

@aliondo is a Thunder fan if I am not mistaken. That message should be going to @Birdman!!!!

Him no kukuma like the setup before so I bet he would be having “I told you so” mentality about his Rockets!

Who told you that? Might not be 21 per se, but 22-23. If you watch soccer you'd know what I'm talking about. There are a lot of players that did pretty well at their very young ages, playing in big clubs, but as they approached their mid 20s they became inexplicably bad, and then they got shipped off to smaller teams, and they remain in smaller teams till they retire.

There are also some who peak in their late 20s to early 30s

Name a soccer player that peakee in their 20's? What is more common is where people overhype a player in his teens by overlooking glaring gaps in their skill set and football IQ, all in the name of they are the next this or the next that e.g Bojan, Dos Santos, Morata, Yohan Gorcuff etc.
When evaluating young prospects in sports the key thing that you look for is their IQ and attitude not speed or athleticism or flashy product.

He most certainly won't get outstandingly better than He currently His. If He does, then we are looking at our GOAT. He'll no doubt get better however, that's a given. How much better is up for debate. I don't think His PPG would go through the roof but His efficiency will no doubt get better and so will other aspects of His game.

He also does not need to get that bigger. The Lad is already a unit as it is. Converting His current Baby fat into Lean muscle would be the objective and then maybe adding a bit more muscle down the line.

Increasing his muscle mass will give him another whole dimension, one thing i noticed about him is his willingness to post smaller players when they switch on him in the paint add this to his ability of finishing through contact, you have another aspect for opposition coaches to worry about.

P.S: It sometimes surprises me that luka is willing to post up smaller players, while big men like Embiid, KAT, even AD sometimes run away from it and have to be reminded to get their butts in the post especially against smaller players.

As always, the Heat under E. Spoelstra play with grit, energy, intensity especially on defense and God do they move their feet.

The Bucks should be ready for a dog fight because these cars don’t care about names. More importantly, Khris should locate his shooting shoes else the load may be too much for Giannis alone to shoulder.

They arent. But you cant play hero ball every night. Blazers need to be able to win games without Lillard transforming into an intergalactic shooting star.

Lol. But we all knew that is how they play didn't we? That is exactly what the whole world saw that made them suggest that they'd be a threat to the Lakers and anybody. That's exactly how they played in the seeding games.

Yessir. EVERY year Lillard drops consecutive crazy 50pt games. Then the analysts start ranking him above Curry. Then they get bounced and the hype stops. Until the next year.

Dame has to play more traditional facilitator role and resist the temptation to take over games. See how OKC is putting pepper in our eyes with a skilled PG

I think the more understated aspect is their atrocious defense. They are poor on defense from 1-5 and that means they have to rely on heavy scoring to win games. The Lakers are just making the obvious issue quite glaring.

With 30+ I don’t understand why the lakers don’t play waiters. The guy was very promising and needs Some playing time too.

Not to mention Rajon who seemed to have recovered already.

Celtic will win the East playoffs as I predicted before the season started.

Kris Middleton is not good enough

Lakers will win the NBA championship because of lebron

PG is not good enough

Can't wait to see how the Nets lineup next season.

Giannis will win MVP

Well it seems both of them were from the streets, one found stardom through basketball and could have been another black man being jailed if he failed. The other meandered her way using her tools (I am not supporting stripping). Like someone here said earlier. Even docs daughter has been passed around.

If they both love each other and can let go of the past. Good luck to them, what matters is who a person is in the now and the future. Old things have passed away.

Gotta give kudos to Gary Trent Jr. He's such a feisty defender. You don't want him guarding you. The only thing is that he usually guards LeBron who's bigger and stronger than him. He stripped the ball off Kuzma twice.
Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 8:08am On Aug 25, 2020
I have been impressed with the lakers defense in the last 3 games but I am still scared about their perimeter defense and 3 point shooting against teams with elite perimeter players.

It looks like the Blazers are spent and do not have the belief to man up to the lakers.

Secondly their biggest Achilles heel is their porous defense and not leveraging on the strengths of the big men in their team.

And please curry is Lillard's daddy.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:19am On Aug 25, 2020
Lest I forget, another masterclass from LeBron. You can feel he's inching closer to that playoff mode. The efficiency is much better. Today he shot 83% from the field (10/12) and 80% from 3 (4/5). Still facilitating at a high level, the best passer in the league bar none.

IMO, I think they did that partly because of Giannis.

Still a stoppid move regardless. . .

There's something you people are failing to see in all this. The Lakers were a top 3 defensive team in the regular season for a reason. Even Steph would have struggled against the Lakers defense I can assure you that. So let's give some props to the Lakers team instead of bashing Dame and the Blazers. And the man has been playing with a dislocated finger since game 2.
