Obasanjo lobbied A.D to join PDP to create a consensus presidential candidate (himself, OBJ), at that time South Western States were governed by grassroot indigenous men we knew as fathers, BAT singlehandedly kicked against it which led to the formation of Action Congress(A.C) which later on metamorphosed into Action Congress of Nigeria (A.C.N). All the Governors in Southwest except BAT lost their seats. The governors include

Firstly, when MKO issue came up and the issue of Abacha tyranny, this same Tinubu came to the Yoruba and Nigeria aid by bankrolling the movement that frustrated the military government and inturn position the Yorubas back to the spot. The aftermath of that struggle led to Obasanjo presidency.

In terms of SW politics, Tinubu was the only one who held sway in 2003 when Obasanjo with his PDP swept all the states in the west through his plot. Not that PDP members are not Yorubas, but the caliber of governors the PDP gave the SW are mediocre and they only played their usual chop I chop politics to the detriment of the Yoruba populace.

Now check the caliber of governors, Tinubu ACN gave to the SW and compare them to the PDP governors we had:
Ajimobi - Akala/Ladoja
Aregbesola - Oyinlola
Amosun - Gbanga Daniel
Fayemi - Fayose
Mimiko (Tinubu helped him although he was in LP)/Akeredolu - Agagu

As a Yoruba, can you compare these ACN guys with the PDP in terms of governance? What then is the sin of Asiwaju against the Yorubas?

Moreso, Tinubu is not like Awolowo because he is not the premier of the whole Yoruba states, he was just a governor in Lagos and the leader of the ACN/APC party. Bode George has been the leader of PDP in the SW for a while, can't you guys also put the bulk of the blame of Bode's neck?

If you say Tinubu installed the ACN governors, they have delivered compared to their counterpart in the SW PDP who were installed by Obasanjo/Bode George and etc.

Below is the IGR of Lagos in 1999 and when Tinubu left in 2007. He increased the IGR to over 780%, and made sure he gave the people of Lagos Fashola who in turn performed better to position Lagos as the leader in terms of development in Nigeria.

If you think Lagos was what it is because of the FCT that was there till 1991, them compare the GDP of Abuja and Lagos now and you will understand why you need to keep shut and stop behaving like nuisance online by regurgitating the rubbish of Tinubu being an enemy of the SW.

If you're as intellectual as you write, you should know that these allegations are baseless and birthed out of hate. Even then President Jonathan used 2years to investigate BAT with EFCC, and he was vindicated.
