There's something you people are failing to see in all this. The Lakers were a top 3 defensive team in the regular season for a reason. Even Steph would have struggled against the Lakers defense I can assure you that. So let's give some props to the Lakers team instead of bashing Dame and the Blazers. And the man has been playing with a dislocated finger since game 2.

Actually my point is,

Max has always been a prisoner of the moment.

It was obviously coming. He was bereft of ideas on how to manage the 76. Next in line is MDA except the rockets get to the Conférence finals, which I doubt. But Brodie is coming and it could chang me a lot of things for them.

Excuses, curry dislocated his finger in game 2 against the Houston rockets last season, yet he closed out the
rockets without Durant and Demarcus cousons with Mr triple single triple stinking the joint and javale being his best center..
Nobody gives curry the same leeway, why should we give Lillard

A further attestation to curry's greatness was that klay wasn't 100% fit for the rockets series last season has he suffered a right ankle sprain against the Clippers in the first round.

Dame is nothing close to curry in terms of overall basket IQ and skills.

But in long shot range Dame is the closest to him. I think that’s what Kellerman is trying to say. I hope anyway.

Again I would love to see Dame in another team, because curry also enjoyed great company.

Kellerman was like dame is exactly like curry but shines brightest in the biggest moment.
All because of 2 clutch playoff shots and swag.

But Lillard's record shows he's a serial choker in the biggest stage.

He choked in the last 2 series the previous year.
Got swept by the Pelicans with jrue making him his son.
He was choking again against the Lakers before the Injury bailed him out.
He has the worse record in the NBA playoffs for any active player.

Harden that's labeled a chocker has done more with less than Lillard yet he's always labeled a chocker and bad teammate.

Harden will take this current Portland side to at least the WCF.

Increasing his muscle mass will give him another whole dimension, one thing i noticed about him is his willingness to post smaller players when they switch on him in the paint add this to his ability of finishing through contact, you have another aspect for opposition coaches to worry about.

P.S: It sometimes surprises me that luka is willing to post up smaller players, while big men like Embiid, KAT, even AD sometimes run away from it and have to be reminded to get their butts in the post especially against smaller players.

I agree with slowly increasing His muscle mass over a few years. Piling it up in one off season should be avoided if possible. He also does not want to get too jacked as that would affect His playing style and possibly the way He moves on the court.

I don't know how much say he had in building his squad, but I'm quite certain that he knew he wouldn't achieve anything with that Embiid/Simmons duo. Which brings me to ask the question, did the front office force him to make do with that duo? If so, any other coach that comes in and sticks with this same team is also destined for doom. One needs to go, and dare I say, I'd keep Embiid and get a true point guard that can give me 22 and 8 at least.

Lol. Is it the same series that Curry averaged 24 points we're talking about here? Dame is also averaging 24 points against the Lakers who are a much better defensive team than that Houston team. No one's saying Dame is better than Curry, so let's quit the comparisons.

Let's be a bit fair to Lillard. I think their shock win of Game 1 really raised expectations beyond their level. I said it here that I don't see them taking the Lakers even to 6 games. Their names look good on paper but they lack depth. They don't have any wings that can play even G-League level defense. It's Dame and inshallah. As CJ is wildly inconsistent

Asssin, he is nothing but a low end 3rd best player getting paid as a high end 2nd best player of a championship caliber team. Will not begrude him his dough but the Bucks wiffed with that contract.
Especially as a small market team the margin for error is too thin to overpay a player whose production is replaceable. My belief is perhaps he gets along with Giannis and they thought it best to pay him so that Giannis does not feel a type of way

Like I always say a made 2 is better than a missed 3. Sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you and such if it's uncontested 2's then you take it.

I'm not saying you go full DeRozan or Ben Simmons but unless you're Steph Curry level as a #1 option I don't think you should be taking more than 5-7 3 pointers in the playoffs. Especially when the first 2 or 3 don't fall.

As a Rockets fan I would have gone batshit crazy that year they missed 27 straight 3's
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:31pm On Aug 25, 2020
Looking forward to this Nuggets vs Jazz game. The end might be nigh for the Nuggets who are low-key one of the disappointments of these playoffs..

Nobody is even talking about Donovan Mitchell. Lol this is why free agents no dey like go some teams

Gonna be 6 games. I dont see blazers losing 4 in a row. I expect whiteside and nurkic to make impact next game. But the coach doesnt look like he can make Lillard change his game

Giannis as DPOY, he absolutely deserves this award (IMHO he should have also won it last year).

Jacob Blake’s shooting once again makes me sick to the stomach..Should the players boycott the rest of the season? I will tell you it is gathering momentum and it will not shock me if they choose to stop playing even though it seems distant at this time.

Officers are supposed to deescalate situations not escalate them to dangerous points where lives are at stake. Very sickening..

Giannis DPOY. Congrats to him. Perhaps this is going to be a compensation for losing the MVP to LeBron cheesy
