Conglomerate, is that you? Somebody finally got to you at an emotional level. Everyone really has a story, it is easy to stay on our high horse and judge. TransAtlanticEx: 3 Likes |

ojesymsym: Same guy, the two events are not mutually exclusive I guess. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by TransAtlanticEx(m): 10:09am On Aug 25, 2020 |
ojesymsym:Yes,very easy for people to judge,I understand that and most times I am not worried by those judgements. I've been judged many times in life and it isn't new to me anymore. But then,I believe the end is all that matters. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 10:19am On Aug 25, 2020 |
No, not mutually exclusive. Just wanted to be sure which leads me to think that you are judging yourself too harshly. That single incident tells me if you will only focus, u can achieve what you set your mind to do. The second event comes from your story, where you used your JAMB, 100 and 200 level to prove to yourself that if you want to be successful at anything you can. Not also mutually exclusive if you ask me. 2:2 is a fairly good grade in Naija if you ask me. Be a little more kind to yourself even as you aspire to push yourself higher. I am guessing your job is a rotation job, which helped you to stay away from your reality for a long while only to find yourself at home for long. (note this part is just an assumption) ositadima1: 3 Likes |

I want to add before I sign-off, if you are living abroad consider ur kids before taking irrational steps, it's true not everyone will end up like me but Nigeria can be though on some people sha. 5 Likes |

It may seem tough for you living in Nigeria but a lot of parents who birth their children abroad wish they can do the same as what your Dad did by raising them in Nigeria from childhood. I understand Nigeria is tough, if you have the means, you could move elsewhere to have a second home but the economy in Italy is not good either. A lot of things you can get away wit in Nigeria is not applicable elsewhere. ositadima1: 1 Like |

ositadima1: You are exactly where you are meant to be at this point in your life. God has placed you there to do something. Look around you and find out why. I am really sorry you are having a tough time. Have you considered therapy? These days it's all done on skype and zoom. Try Harley street doctors online. that's what I think they are called. They can also prescribe medication if you need it. Keep us posted. I hope you ll feel better soon 6 Likes |

Wow. Like wow. You must be feeling so down to have taken the time to write all this. I can relate. When things are not going the way you expect, it affects you mentally. The future just seems so bleak and dreary and hopeless. You keep on looking back to the past trying to figure where you lost it. I can't count how many times i tell myself to shake off the blues but still anytime my thoughts are not occupied on something like work or entertainment, i feel the shadow lurking around the corner waiting to pounce. I advice u read motivational books, look ahead not behind, forgive your father his BAD decision (From Rome to Nigeria, damn, what was he thinking?) and forgive yourself your shortcomings, don't compare yourself to your mates and accept that you might never catch up (and that's ok) cos this world is not our own and we are just passing through. Life is a journey and not a race. So focus on the good things you have. See life. It's so easy for me to give someone else advice that i don't implement myself. The best thing for you really would be to see a psychologist or talk to a counselor. It's like you have been bottling this up for a while. I hope and pray you feel better. ositadima1: 11 Likes |

ositadima1: I understand you and see where you're coming from, but your father might not have been having it easy out there, and that might have informed his decision to return home. "The abroad" is not an easy place in which to make one's way. 2 Likes |

Chukzyfcb: Are you looking for a perfect/closest substitute for treasury bills/ T bills read below Every financial instruments has it own pros and cons, the longer the duration the T bills last the higher the rate of returns Its an instrument used to stabilise the economy, so the rate definitely swings depending on government intention I would like to introduce you to a plan as secured as the treasury bills paying as high as the treasury bills given the time it matures and its commited to a stable increasing payment of 5-10% annually or a flat rate annually, unlike the treasury bills its called ANNUITY UNIVERSALLY only few financial organisation offers it and i could help you understand better how it works, how you could enroll and enjoy it. for a quicker response my name is Francisco 07033895094 alozie.obilo@yahoo.com |

It is because 70 percent of children born abroad lose the core values of the African culture such as family ties, respect, sense of responsibility. My friend's child who is 14 calls his uncle a "dickhed" in front of his elders and everybody just sigh in relief. ojesymsym: We do want a sane country, lots need to change in Nigeria but there are good things about Nigeria like community share of responsibility. Like people can easily dash you N5000 when they see you hungry but In a developed country someone who looks hungry doesn't get a dime, there are exceptions though. You can get through many things in Nigeria. Cyberknight: 4 Likes |

Godbpraised: You have to board in Canada first. Some airlines will not board you, as someone already said. It is doable especially as you are travelling with a low-regard passport so they might not even look at the green thing, but cover all angles. See if you can get an ETC if they're not issuing passports. https://nigeriahcottawa.ca/citizen-services/emergency-travel-certificates 2 Likes 1 Share |
