TLScontact is in central Business District, NO Hotel in central business district is cheap.

Also remember the word "cheap" is relative.

You can get hotel in maraba, nyanya, karu for 5.5k per night. it will only cost you 250 naira to get to TLScontact from any of these places. if you need help I can assist you.

Dont go to maraba or karu.. Thats too far. There are cheap places as well in town. 5k, 6k, 7k. Places around wuse... Karu is far plus triffice. ubers dont really go there o.

I friend who applied for Tier 4 UK visa and her Interview/Biometrics is tomorrow, self service.

She was refused South Korean Visit visa last year, she was also refused Canada study visa twice in 2018.

Now the issue is, when she applied for UK visa, she declared the refusal for South Korea and one of the Canadian refusals. According to her she forgot.

By the time she remembered she had already uploaded her documents.

So I told her that not declaring that refusal even though she had declared it under the same country and visa category for one of the refusal might lead to a refusal.

Please those who knowledgeable on such issue should please give the necessary guidelines as tomorrow is her interview.

I intend to screenshot the responses I get her and forward to her.

do I have to do any special thing to use it for payment?
Or should I just select the paga verve and go ahead with my payment?

A few hours after they told me I will receive my CAS tolday, I was told the course director abruptly resigned today, so they will have to discontinue the course (FinTech). They are saying I will have to chose another course.
I can't even think of a course that is close now
My brain is not even booting atm
I don't even know whether I'm angry or confused

Sterling Bank
Or Providus bank.

Other Banks are credit only banks on the Paga platform but the above listed Banks have both Credit and Debit options.

*Step 2:*
When you open the account, the limit is set at 200k so you might have to increase your limit if you are making a payment of over 200k in the dollar equivalent.

*Step 3:*
Make sure you have a debit bank card and that your bank limit is also increased.

*Step 4:*
Fund your Paga wallet or account then proceeded to make payments on the IHS webpage.

*N/B:*
When on the IHS payment option page, you will need to choose the Paga payment option.
But you will need to provide some documents like your proof of address and a means of identification.
You can do it yourself. The option is on the Paga page.
You just need to upload them and they will be verified in less than 24hours.

While cross checking my previous Visa application summary ( I got refusal though). , I noticed I might have mistook place of birth with place of residence... I just noticed that now


My birth place is Kano as shown on my passport and my place of residence is Lafia..

The address used during visa application is bearing LAFIA through out because that's where I work and reside..

Authorization of my passport too is from Lafia

Meanwhile I was giving a chance for admin review after the refusal and while filling the admin review form, I wrote Kano as my place of birth. I also checked that now. the admin review wasn't successful either because I later presented a new document" bank statement" which I didn't present in my previous visa application.. so the admin reviewer upheld the decision of the ECO as they don't accept new evidence and the can't verify the bank statement as the fund didn't matured upto 28days...I got delay from my employer in crediting my account that's why I made used of the award letter as someone told me it will suffice.

Note: Reason for the refusal is that " despite numerous attempt to verify my award later the result return back inconclusive.

Please how do I address the question below

So I had the opportunity to discuss this with the visa compliance team of my uni and they suggested that i take evidence of the refusals (rejection letters) to my appointment and declare it to the vo which is what i will do.

The "place of birth" on the NPC attestation of birth is different from what is stated on my passport although they're both in the same LGA in delta state ( different communities).

It's better to write a cover letter to explain this instead of omitting it and hoping that it's not found out. Each refusal should be addressed.
If she doesn't address the 2nd refusal, it is an omission of material fact which can be termed as misrepresentation or deception when discovered. This is because "I forgot" is not a good enough reason not to address all refusals.

It's either the above or cancel the application and submit a new one.

1020 is that amount for IHS? I guess is for two years?

IHS is £300per year if you are going for masters you will add £150 making it £450...

This would probably be interpreted differently by different people.

Personally, I would answer no as the intention was not to present false information + you wrote Kano in your AR form. Then in the bit of the form that allows for any additional information, I would explain clearly that I noticed an error in my previous application where I mixed up place of birth/place of residence. I think it is a ‘small’ error because your passport clearly states where you were born AND, in your case, where you reside (issuing authority). It’s not like the ‘mistake’ was one that would give you any sort of advantage so clearly explaining it on the form should suffice. Or you can include a cover letter.

Would be interesting to see what others think.

Cross to the computer village area, board a bus to Maryland from there, alight at Abule Onigbagbo, cross to the other side where you have the white building (Etiebet's place). TLS is within the white building.

Check Progandy guest house. It's in Garki and about 9-15 minutes from TLS. Cab from Garki usually is about N500 depending on how well you price it. It cost about 8K as at 2018; not sure about now.

If your budget is in the 15k range, try Gloriana hotel. It's also in area 2 Garki, very close to the long road that cuts through areas 1, 2, 10 down to the CBD. Taxi is roughly same cost as the above too.

There are many other not so popular and not expensive guest houses whose names I can't remember now but if you search well, you'll find something within Garki and the CBD areas.

PS: if you use shared cabs, the cost drops to about N100-150 but I wouldn't advice that as a result of the many one-chance stories that abound from using such.
