Yes that was before.
Now so many banks have a restriction on NAIRA MASTERCARD.
Any payment above 100usd will not go. Banks such as GTB, UBA, ECOBANK have this restriction in place at the moment.
When u click on Paga payment it will change d currency from Dollar to Naira

, I submitted my family passports(visas) on the 29th of July, 2020 for vignette extension . Till date, I've not gotten any information as to if the Vignettes extension has been granted as today's is the 20th working day(or 28 calender days ). No information yet. It's so worrisome.

Same here, has anyone received their new vignette yet?

The silence is annoying, it seems they've refused to process old applications and their focus is currently on new ones.

It's very easy with Naira Mastercard. When u get to d payment options, click on Paga payment option and it will direct u to a page where u can fill in ur card details. Try it and thank me later.
Thank u @safiguy4u, i try the paga option, unfortunately my bank is not among the listed banks paga partners with and the 3 lists of banks are Providus bank, sterling bank Zenith bank.

Anyway, i have made a million calls and texts messages to see or find anyone who can help me out with his or her Zenith or Fcmb bank account details and card, then i will transfer the money and the OTP-codes will be release without haste.

The last payment I did was for 5 years and it was on August 21st, 2020 and it was Gt bank Naira Mastercard I used.

Let me break it for u.
When you click on Paga payment,
It will direct u to another page,
that page will change the currency from Dollar to Naira,
So at this stage, u re not paying in Dollars but in Naira.
When u nter ur card details (Mastercard Number, month and year of expiration, CVC & ur atm card PIN then click pay,
It will take u to another page where they ask u to either use ur Token to generate an OTP Code or receive the OTP code tru email and text msg linked to ur card account.(this is for Gt bank Naira mastercard)
then enter the OTP code and u are good to go.

Please does anyone use their Nigerian naira card to pay their UK visa fees? I’m about to pay online but I’m worried it won’t work or the money will hang. Also will it make sense to include a copy of my US visa as supporting documents? I’ve not used it before so I didn’t select US as a place I’ve been to.

Hello iyatrustee for 3 days now, i have been trying to make payment for my UK visa fee with my GTbank domiciliary account, but due to the new policy by CBN; transaction more than $100 won’t go [/quote]

With $100, you can open a dollar acct with any bank you already operate with. Easy to open so long you have 2 referees and utility bill to show your address(not more than 3mths)That is a better option.

Please, could you enlighten me more on this dollar account? Is it the same as domiciliary account? If I open with the $100,can I have a balance that is less than $100 in the account?
GTB and Sterling, which would you advice me to open with?
Apart from paying for dollar transactions, does it have any other advantage for someone staying majorly of the country?
Thanks.

Same as dormicilliary acct. Yes, you can maintain an amount less than $100. The card cost N1k like the normal naira card too. For personal preferences, i will suggest Gtb. Never used sterling so i cant say. Majorly for dollar transactions, there are stories of banks offering naira equivalent when one tries to withdraw.

Vignette replacement is only in place for 30-day vignettes (for stays longer than 6 months) that expired without being used as a result of Covid-19.
