Hello house, I had my test today and I tested negative, I've been crying since...this is so frustrating.
Thanks @Lamay for your prayer
@Mummy4life I use Vine branch fertility centre in Ibadan (so many others are testing positive, so don't let my own discourage you).

I don't even know the next thing to do....

So sorry for failed cycle, as for what to do again? Review the cycle that fail to find out the possible reason why it failed e.g. poor egg quality, poor lining, endo, fibroids e.t.c., work on it and try again.

In this journey you don't give up until we achieve our desired result. E.g. I'm on my third and hopefully finale cycle.

Beautiful sisters and (brothers?), please i need your advise. I am in the US and was planning on starting an iIVF cycle next month. Last year Nov, I a had an ultrasound that showed a 17mm cyst on my right ovary. Went back yesterday for another ultrasound, and the cyst is now bigger at 22mm. I am waiting to know what the ivf clinic will say but they will most likely not allow me start. My question now is I can I make this cyst go away? I have heard they go away on their own and was hoping for that but obviously, I id not get so lucky. (I am in the US between, don't know if that is relevant but just in case).

Thanks in advance!

Don't bother going to LUTH. I know someone that was supposed to do hysteroscopy there early this year, when it was time they postponed it saying they lack something in the theater to use for the procedure. Till now they have not called her back. Check any private fertility clinic, it can't be more than 250k. I did for 200k in George's lekki for 2018.

It should depend on the lab. I did at synlab 15k November last year. It might be more than that now.

I know there is no certainty with ivf but my overall experience there is not satisfying at all. They won't tell you anything, you won't even know the number of follicles they retrieved, the protocol you are on and so on. I got to know the number of matured embryos that we have when I was on the table waiting for transfer after I asked the doctor.

sorry for the bfn, it could be heart breaking, we went through that as well, in our first ivf.
i am not defending kingswill, nor affiliated with them in anyway, however am just laying out general advice for all

1. in this ttc matter, you need to research, research and research, so you can engage the medical people better, from a point of knowledge.in nigeria medical practise, the unspoken way of life is : need to know basis, if something isnt critical or your knowing doesnt have any effect on the outcome, and you dont ask...the docs will not tell you, only very few will.
am sure if you asked the doctor what protocol you are on, how many blasts, egg etc..during the course of the procedure..they would have told you. you didnt ask, and they assumed you didnt want to know/wouldn't understand even if they tell you ---yes some people are like that, they dont want to be bothered with all the medical info etc

our first ivf, my level of knowledge ended at only asking for the nos of eggs harvested, blasts to be transferred, protocol etc...i didnt know about grading of blasts, i didn't ask..and wasn't told...i didn't hold it against them. our next ivf, i was better prepared, and got copies of everything, asked for grades of the blasts, and understood what they meant, the doctor could see i had some knowledge and engaged me properly @ my level grin grin

my dw, on the other hand, didn't have much knowledge, her level of knowledge remained almost same except what i told her, so if i wasnt involved, the 2nd ivf may likely have remained same for her, and the doctors wouldn't have told her anything as well.i made a couple of suggestions to the doc, which he accepted and agreed to.

Thank you sir.... While I can't hold them responsible for the result we got, I can still hold them responsible for not telling us some important information we needed to know. If we had known the outcome of the embryos on time, we might have cancelled the cycle.

Anyway, we share our experience here so others can prepare better when planning theirs.

ewwww, thats a horrible place to cycle then.
now you have narated the whole story, the bulk of the blame lies with the hospital,
would advice people to quit cycling with them, until they turn a new leaf.

ivf is emotionally and financially draining enough, not to add the wahala of rubbish docs to the mix.
one can only wonder what trully happened, if they gave your blasts to another couple or the embroyotologist messed up and all the embies died..and they couldnt tell you guys

I never wanted to drop any review on Kingswill before now. But if my opinion is sought, I will not advice anyone to go to Dr. Kingswill. I have never seen a fertility clinic with workers who have no patient empathy whatsoever, they are too nonchalant and lack coordination. Dr. Kingswill has a body language that has rubbed off on his staff as well. They are so carefree.

Dr. Kingswill gets irritated when he is asked questions, like you should just surrender your body to him without questions for experiments and pay for it as well. I don't understand why a doctor gets miffed when sensitive questions are asked or some sorta comfort is required by his patients in the form of an explanation. Even if he has recorded many success stories, it's not enough justification for the experience most of us passed through with him. Once again, I regret ever going to the hospital.

if you are conversant with airbnb, you could give it a shot, stayed in one last time i was in abuja, and was pleasantly suprised, swore never to stay in hotels again whenever am in abuja,

searched in gwarimpa, and this looks cheap, you may search further for other better options

So many fertility doctors generally tend to begin feeling like Gods when they get well known especially when they offer lowest prices in the vicinity. na God dey save person.
