He says new xiaomi phones don't connect to wireless gaming devices (e.g gaming pad) is this a lie or is he telling the truth?

i use both an ipega and ps4 controller with my redmi note 8 pro. Maybe your friend has an old console pad bcoz the first ps4 and xbox one controllers didn't have support for mobile devices but sony and Microsoft later changed that with new models,and if it's a ps3 pad,those have never worked with any mobile device b4 unless you root them.

I think I have a problem with my phone.
I added some files(Txt files, Docs) to my hiiden files in my file manager. Have been accessing them peacefully all these while,only to check today and can't find them. Please has anyone ever faced this?? How can I get my files back and what's the cause?

U may av unknowingly deleted the folder containing those files probably as a result of deep clean...

Try to hid some files like duplicated Docs or watched videos and check if they r accessible...
