Baba since you have stoped been a barce fan since Messi rumour came up, follow am go man city now, even Madrid fans no Dey bad mouth barce like this nah

Every of your post here keep describing how pessimistic and negative you’re

Kindly take your bad luck outta this thread. Fool
STFU Mr Barca fan.
A true Barca fan would never want to lose Messi now.

If I didn't care about Barca I wouldn't complain about him leaving a bunch of dead players who collectively can't score 5 goals in the UCL for 2 seasons now.

I wouldn't care about Messi remaining with a bunch of washed up players who Messi has dragged on for 5 years now.

If Messi goes to City he will be more successful with quality players around him not these dead woods you call players.

I care about Barca and that's why am frustrated at you forgetful and ungrateful meatheads.
That's why I want him to stay.

Watching Barca highlights every weekend doesn't make you more of a fan than others.

Lol...if not for the humiliating defeat from Bayern ..did u think there will be calls to revamp the team
Atalanta had a team of nobodies that were continuously winning matches... Same Ajax, and Leipzig... U know what they all have in common... They are all trying to impress. Thereby not relying on any player to do the magic... But who will Barca rely on when Messi leaves when as at now they are not up to the standard of Atalanta, Ajax, Leipzig
Why not Barca starts playing with teamwork and also starts trying to impress as you said above? Before the bayern disaster class was ter stegen not bailing us out sometimes? If tiki taka is implemented well and we get the players either from la Masia or bought.I see no reason why we can't compete for trophies since it's a gameplay that encourages teamwork and brings even the central backs deep into the play.Guy without Messi barca can still survive even after some crumbles at first.

Prophet tespidd I just hope you won't come back to eat up your words later in the future because remember the internet never forgets.Im a Messi ban before a barca fan but I'm telling you bro that if Messi leaves Barca wont crumble up to the point of the Cleveland cavaliers in the NBA when LeBron James left them.
WHAT on earth gives you such confidence.?

The only thing that has made Barca special for the past 5 years is Messi.

People talk about the champions league.
Messi has actively delivered 3 UCL titles.

In the same period Madrid has won 4, Bayern has won 2, Liverpool has won 1.

Why do these over spoilt Barca fans think that the UCL has become a birthright? And if it's not won the solution is to sell Messi?

Is it not because of the same Messi?

Take a look around Europe. All you see are teams stacked with stars.

What in this Barca team inspires your confidence?

Fati? Dembele? Griezman?

God bless you bro.Niggas are just looking at the negatives not knowing that there is a silver lining in every dark cloud.Apart from that teamwork would be more encouraged and utilised.Im very sure that Koeman himself in his mind didn't want Messi anymore even as he was taking the barca job.
No one wants to criticize Messi because of the legendary status he currently enjoys but part of the reason for Barcelona decline especially in European competitions is lack of pressing and hardwork by the forwards led by Messi. Most time when he loses the ball, he won't even bother chasing back, leaving the team in a precarious situation in the middle. Some of those situations led to goals conceded.

City are ready to pounce. They are preparing to snap him up.

And surely Messi will perform 10 times better with Guardiola and that City team.
Messi fans want him to leave this dead team behind and fly with City.
So it's so easy to rejoice over his departure if you're not a Barca fan.

True Barca fans want Messi to stay.
Idiots want him to leave.

You can insult me however you like but bro I'm not arguing with you about Messi not carrying Barca all these years. Like you rightly said it's because of Messi barca could still have a shot at the Ucl but God forbid if Messi had a career-ending injury against bayern or suddenly decided to retire, won't we look solutions to move the team forward? I'm sad it has come to this but as much as I like Messi, I'm also a barca fan.Messi deserves a better team to complement his waning but dynamic talent because right now all his complaints have fallen on deaf ears while we need to groom and build a better team for the future.I myself don't see my team doing superb without him next season but with proper people in every area.Barca would be great again.

Let me give you a typical UCL season;

Messi scores 12 Goals.
The next best thing scores 3 Goals.
The main Stiker scores 1 Goal.

And then you say the problem is Messi for not pressing?
grin

What the hell is wrong with you jpmoriati?

not only him

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/12504524/lionel-messi-respect-barcelona-presidential/amp/

Lionel Messi ‘lacks respect’ for Barcelona, slams presidential candidate as he insists he wouldn’t mind if he leaves

He told Radio Marca: "I am not overly concerned about Messi leaving because everything has an end.

"What is important is that he did it in such an unfortunate way and without respecting the club."

Only those that worship Messi excuse his actions as "understandable"

Go and sit one place. you are sound as if Messi leave that will be the end of the world.

No player is greater than the club. If Messi wants to leave the board should accept his decision because he has done enough for the club.

Stop be emotional.

Before Messi there was Ronaldinho, And there will be someone that will step up to replace Messi. it may not be this season but definitely there will be.

Truly, it takes more than mouthing to be the best thing to ever happen to football, if not the whole of sport.

Neymar left Barcelona for PSG and generated more than 260k tweets. (Whoops, Interesting)

Ronaldo left R/Madrid for Juventus and generated over 800k tweets ( Fantabulous)

Now, Baba has caused so much uproar by sending a four-worded fax ( I want to leave) and we have over 2.5M tweets in about 12 hours. Funny thing is, there are claims that he's not even an active Twitter user..

Now that doesn't even interest me so much...

When other players want leave their parent club or lucrative "comfort environment, " it's a zeal to search for better, and more clinical challenges, but when Messi tries to do that, he's leaving his team in critical times.

When others stay, they are being loyal, but for Messi, he's afraid to try out new things....

Dears Cules and other reasonable football fans, open your eyes, there are levels to this SHIT...

Messi already showed promise while Ronaldinho was still around .. reason Guardiola was able to sell the latter without any controversy happening

Pls .. The goals Messi scored in 2007/08 season while Ronaldinho was still around, which of the Barca youngsters are able to replicate it

As a Madrid fan I don't know how el classic will feel without Messi but even has a Chelsea fan would love to see Messi in EPL. I bet he would provide about 50+ goals and assists.

But Messi messed up. Why not wait a year. Look at how Hazard though he left at a bad time, was still celebrated because all his fans knew he was leaving. How can your club suffer 8-2 and the next thing they hear from you is–you want to leave, even if it's a stunt. My Barcelona friends are hurt and disappointed, –just how much they love him. Yet, mehn it's crazy.

If Barca and Messi go to court over him leaving free (maybe so Messi gets a better deal in his team) it would be one of the biggest break up cases in court and football history to me.

Your president is a stubborn man, y not wait it out a year, even at 35 I would still love Messi in my team forget yarns. Let Messi leave let Madrid claim more LA liga titles but as a secret admirer of Messi (from PS2 days) he fvcked up, yes it's his right to want to leave but never pictured it this way. and barca board would want to make the best out of this situation and sell him (like Madrid with Ronaldo which was more peaceful and quiet).

Messi in EPL? shocked that would be mad o

Up till now you are still calling him someone,,

What is the someone's name?

At least when Ronaldinho was leaving we already knew the someone's name.

You know the someone's name is Griezman but you're too embarrassed to say it.

Fighting to keep a player does not mean that the player is greater than the club.

Letting go of your best player because others in the team can't measure up to his standard and complement him adequately is like cutting off one's head to cure a headache.

You guys need to stop being silly.

Why do you think the Barça management have been hiding the exact details of what Messi earns for over five years now? Players would have probably rioted asking for increases too.
I don't even think 95 million is his full annual wages. There are so many add-ons shrouded in secrecy.

When club officials have been asked about the specifics of Messi' earnings, they suddenly develop amnesia.

I won't be surprised if it's revealed that Barça funds his holidays (like Neymar gets PSG private jet rides benefits).

Messi is the de facto president of Barça. Bartomeu has just been ceremonial.
Wow!

Even before the issue of leaving came up, most of you had begun shouting "sell him sell him" as soon as the Bayern game ended.

Those of you that pointed your filthy fingers at him on your TV screens on the nights of his magic are the same ones shouting sell him, he's letting down the team.
