barca have signed fransesco trincao for 31m from braga. he is 20yrs to be 21 this december, he is a left-footer, he is portugese, he can play anywhere across the front line but is primarily a striker. he is suarez replacement.

Very very biased analysis.

Like the way he quitted after Juve in '17? undecided
After Roma in '18? undecided
After Liverpool in 19? undecided

Once bitten, twice shy.
Twice beaten?
Thrice?

And what about 4 times? Suddenly he's developed a penchant for quitting?

The same man that went to Camp Nou to urge fans not to loose faith after Liverpool has developed penchant for quitting?

See, idgaf about Messi leaving, as much as you do. But you don't libel him to make some uncanny points.

You said the club gave him everything, like he didn't give the club everything?

Their relationship was a commensalic relationship, both parties were benefiting. Yes, they gave him the platform, but Messi was raking in hundreds of millions yearly. Hundreds of millions in endorsement, image rights, shirts sales, tickets, even trophies. What do you mean the club gave him everything? A club that is paying a player 95m yearly, be sure that player returns well over 150m yearly for the club.

PSG bought Neymar 222m, and recovered 222m from shirt sales in a week. You think Messi doesn't bring in over 200m for Barça yearly?

Why hasn't the club given another player everything? since it's easy to give.

I don't have problems with people who want Messi to go, but don't let your emotions be cloud your judgement...

Your analysis is very wrong! Very very!
You are the one allowing emotions to cloud your judgement.

In my experience as a professional in my field, i have learned to not cry over spilt milk.

Messi, on his own volition, drafted a fax, which will rescind his contract with the club, then proceeded to send it to the club and then shut the door for any prospective negotiation, claiming the decision is final. Yes, i want Messi to stay but that will not affect the long overdue sqaud overhaul whether or not his reverses his decision.

This is not a case of giving a dog a bad name to hang it. I acknowledge he has made alot of money for the club. He can still stay to help rebuild the squad in one final dance.

I think you are scared the club will sink into oblivion without him that's why some people here are desperate for someone who is already drawing a curtain to a glittering football career, to still remain at the club. Well, I am not.

If the club manages his exit as good as Madrid did Ronaldo's, we will recover in no time and get back to winning trophies. If you keep winning trophies, investors will keep coming and all monies lost, will be recovered.

You’re really stupid, thanks to MTN 10mb. All these years he’s wanted to stay you morons kept shouting Messi is afraid of new challenge, now he decided to leave you’re saying he’s quitting. Barcelona helped Messi and he repaid them in triple fold.
I'm not a 10MB person. I can afford to sponsor your internet expenses for at least 5yrs. shocked Not everyone here is as wretched as you are. And i never said anywhere that Messi should find a new challenge. He can stay if he wants but i cannot cry like the rest of you here because of someone who is already at the twilight of his career.

BTW nice analysis

Bro... I love Messi as much as the next guy but If the rumour of him WANTING to leave for FREE is TRUE then niggga is ungrateful

I understand the man is tired, I would be too.. but he should understand that Barto and his incompetent board does not represent the interests of thousands of socios and millions of fans worldwide

After all Barca has done for him, I mean we pay him the most (he is the best after all)..Barca even ran a support campaign for him during his tax issues and the fans adore him
I am not saying he has not earned the right to leave whenever he wants... I am just saying he should at least earn us few €€€

You evaded the point.

The club gave him everything. Hasn't he given the club everything?

Making over 200m yearly for the club?

You also said he's a quitter, I'm asking you, why did he not quit after Juve, Roma, Liverpool?

I mean, he's a quitter, he's not supposed to wait this long, is he?

People had a commensalic relationship, and you're saying the club gave him everything.

What a joke!

You're mistaking me for someone who cares about Messi leaving or not.

I already said it here after Bayern he should leave. So, I repeat, idgaf if he stays or leave.

He's overwon for us, I won't be stingy enough to deny him the joy of winning somewhere else.

While you want him to go, doesn't mean you don't get to be objective.

Take a chill pill bruh. C'mon

That was the second time. What about the first time? When there was rumors he wanted to leave because Barça stayed out of the case and lent no support? undecided

There's no way Messi is leaving free. Y'all better calm down. Definitely not up to 200m, but more than 100m, that we would lavish anyway

Messi aggressively stabbing Barca...

Making sure Barca gets no penny from him leaving..

Bwhahahahahahah!!! cheesy cheesy

What a time.

Some Barca fans are now seeing football doesn't start and end with Messi, while some are still with their faces buried deep in Messi's anus..

Messi is loyal, Messi is loyal.
With that bloody bastard money Messi is earning and how he gets worshiped in Spain, who no go stay loyal?

I hopes Messi ensures he leaves this situation more messy and dirty, and maybe a certain amount of his ass-lickers would see the light and follow football rationally.

He quit the national team because they kept losing. He has decided to quit FCB because we kept losing too. Can't you see the similarities?

You said he generates 200million Euros for Barca yearly. I will ask, where did you get this figure as a fact?

He was signed in January, to join this summer. He is here now. Dont know what to expect from him. Perhaps, with Messi leaving, players will be unshackled and #passToMessi will die a natural death. Pique can provide the leader the team needs.

Don't You ever call Messi a flop for Argentina after excelling throughout the tournament but losing the final simply because there was no one to score like Eder and Bernado.

Implant this into your numb skull.

We don't call Messi an Argentine failure for not scoring in finals, he's a failure because he has played in 4 finals, abd couldn't step up in at least 1

If Messi leaves Barca will not win la liga until 2025 earliest.

And no hope for UCL until 2035.
This has got be the greatest bullshit of 2020.

What the hell goes through your head when you spew thrash like this?

Barca will ALWAYS be a super club.

I remember asking if you're a Barca fan. I just got my answer. You're not. Your loyalty lies with Messi. Follow him.

STFU Mr Barca fan.
A true Barca fan would never want to lose Messi now.

If I didn't care about Barca I wouldn't complain about him leaving a bunch of dead players who collectively can't score 5 goals in the UCL for 2 seasons now.

I wouldn't care about Messi remaining with a bunch of washed up players who Messi has dragged on for 5 years now.

If Messi goes to City he will be more successful with quality players around him not these dead woods you call players.

I care about Barca and that's why am frustrated at you forgetful and ungrateful meatheads.
That's why I want him to stay.

Watching Barca highlights every weekend doesn't make you more of a fan than others.

A Barca fan doesn't spew thrash and doom. If you are really a Barca fan you will understand that the club still has the quality and resources to pull through.

All you see is Messi.
Use your head, so many silver linings exist in Messi's imminent departure.
Painful that he is leaving, but he was always gonna leave on day.

Barca will rise. We didn't die when Ronaldinho, eto'o, or Neymar left.

Zero for Portugal.

No one wants to criticize Messi because of the legendary status he currently enjoys but part of the reason for Barcelona decline especially in European competitions is lack of pressing and hardwork by the forwards led by Messi. Most time when he loses the ball, he won't even bother chasing back, leaving the team in a precarious situation in the middle. Some of those situations led to goals conceded.
I remember given an analysis on so of the negatives Messi pose to the team.

Report has it that when Koeman spoke with Messi, he told him point blank that there would be no more privileges.
The man is not blind. Messi saves us with is brilliance, but worshipping him has had some counterproductive effect on team play. The managers brought didn't help the situation.
I remember when Messi was misbehaving because Enrique pushed him to the wing. It took iniesta and xavi to talk sense into him.
Messi remains the greatest of all time but sometimes even the excesses of the best needs to be curbed if the system(team) as whole wants to progress.

You would realise that this present Barca team is bleeped.

Messi is the only thing that made it respectable.

When Ronaldinho, Etoo and Deco were departing we were left with a very good world class core consisting of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Puyol, Yaya.

Who's taking over after Messi?
How has the club being managed for the last 3 years?

Keep on pissing in the wind.

*Imagine a club that would swap Arthur for Pjanic.
*Imagine a club that would pass on the opportunity to sign Alphonso Davies because he is Canadian.
*Imagine a club that has changed more than 3 managers in 3 seasons.
*Imagine a club with no proper playing philosophy were only one player is scoring and creating 90 percent of the goals.
