Please I need suggestions on how to soften rough palms, ever since I was young people do complain that I have a rough palms .
I was young and naive then so didn't take it serious, not until I became much older.

My palms are so rough like that of sand paper, the funny thing is that I haven't engage in jobs that do make Ones palms rough (bricklaying,etc).
Whenever my female/male friends shake my palms they do complain about the feel, even me I feel bad about the feel .

Have tried different remedies like rubbing sugar and honey, but can't sustain it,
Have also used hand cream all to no avail, please I would love suggestions on how to go about this.

You are my opposite. My palms are naturally soft.

You can apply moisturizers on your palm but might not do much. I guess yours is natural and not due to hard jobs. At least you have two complete hands. LIVE WITH IT.

You need to start drinking enough water and eating some fruits EVERY DAY.
Apart from soft palms, it is very ESSENTIAL and BENEFICIAL for your overall health.
It also helps to cleanse your system by encouraging free bowel movement.

Let me give you an exercise:

At least, drink 2ltrs of water and take 2 oranges everyday.
Observe for at least one week, then get back to me with your observation(s).

It'll help soften your palms on the surface without being sticky.

When you're consistent with the water/fruits lifestyle, it'll saturate your whole body.

Hello. I know I'm 4 years later but i just had to reply. I have the exact same issue with you and I've tried everything too all to no avail. I was actually even scrolling online looking for solutions when i stumbled across your post. The skin on your palms look exactly like mine and homestly is the first time I'm seeing someone else with it. I can totally relate to everything; the friends complaining, the feeling of sandpaper and the shame that comes with it, mine has also always been like this for as long as i can remember. Many people say it might be natural but i sincerely hope it's not cause i can't stand it. I've decided to visit a dermatologist to see if the issue can be remedied, i really wish it can. What about you? Have You been able to find a solution?
