When you compare fine art with the other courses in the faculty of Art, you would realise that it is kinda out of place.. Compare Fine art with English, literature in English, foreign languages, philosophy, Religion, Mass com. Do you now see how it is out of place there?

I disagree. Fine art is very much at home there.

Fine art is visual art, it doesn't meet any requirements necessary for a field to be regarded as science.

Observations in fine art are subjected to individual taste, and never to scientific experiments. Just like English, and other core art faculty courses, there are no parts of fine art that yield themselves to scientific experiments. Theories are formulated based on mere observations and personal tastes.
