This government is a very stupid government why are they devaluing the currency when the country does not have competitive export products that can benefit
The major export is already denominated in $ and you are allocated quotas,which you can not increase at will
It will only make import expensive and the country is a net importer,without much substitute,this will just create more hardship for the people
I wonder why Ghana did not bastardized its currency like Nigeria

Spending money to defend the value of the naira isn't a smart long term plan. The market should be allowed to determine the value of the currency and more importantly is the need to merge the parallel rates into one.

the solution is that lets grow the economy.. oil price is not with in our control but Agriculture, manufacturing etc are..

these will reduce the heavy reliance on imports and increase the export.. whereby making the dollar to be more available then crashing the dollar.
