Software development is hard, in ANY language, it’s not a simple life skill you just pick up like reading/writing or walking & talking, you don’t just “Get It” at a certain point and then cruise through the rest of your career staying at that point.

The industry innovates and moves at such a speed, that you have to keep learning, you have to keep exploring and discovering new things, it’s not about languages or frameworks…. these are just your tools as a problem solver, because that’s what your job is….. to solve problems, using technology.

Only those that have the mental tenacity and a love of pure cold hard logic combined with some of the most mentally challenging aspects you can imagine will get anywhere in it.

There is NO TOP, just when you think you’ve learned everything, you find their is suddenly more to learn.

Success in this field / business is about understanding what you DON’T KNOW, not about what you do, working effectively and easily is about verity, using multiple languages treating languages as tools and not as solutions, it’s about experience.

Concentrating just on a single language such as JavaScript is ALWAYS going to be hard, because that’s not how this industry works, but it’s going to be a long time before those that control the gates to the kingdom will admit to that.

I don’t know why everyone wants to be a programmer, and everyone thinks that anyone can learn programming, just like everyone can learn proper grammar. It’s more like art - if you’re not artistic, you’ll never learn” to be artistic, you’ll keep squeaking through art classes without learning much. The same goes for programming - if you’re not analytical*, you’ll never learn to be analytical, so you’ll always be a programmer looking for someone to show you how to solve the problem you’re working on.

*Survival is mainly “fight or flee”. If a lion came at you, 50,000 years ago, you didn’t analyze things, you just hoped that he’d run out of strength before he caught you. Analyzing him for a few minutes didn’t get those “analysis genes” passed on, they became lion food. Humans are pattern-seeking animals. We’re also non-analytical animals. Programming is analytical, so not many of us can actually do it. Code something that someone shows you how to do? Yes. But analyzing the problem to come up with a solution? That’s not common. But what it is, is programming.

If the pay is worth it, why not?
The only heartbreak in career, is killing all your time, pleasure and life for something that won't yield the pay or the world won't give a fvck about.

Since this dumb world worships the dumb entertainers, I don't see a reason why anyone should suffer for a stressful career.
Let everyone become a comedian or musician or actor or actress or footballer. Maybe the world will realize it's folly thereafter.

I'm not a programmer but if I ever had programming prowess, tangible enough to wreck some havoc, then it won't be bad to show the world who the real celebrity is. That's why I dont blame rogue scientists and hackers, they only know their worth and they try to prove it.

Fvck this dumb world.

Following a Career Path you don't like or passionate about is like being in Relationship with someOne whom you don't love - A life long misery

By the way, am yet to meet anyOne who became a professional doing what they hate or don't like. You either QUIT or never gets better at it.

I rather earn less doing that which I love than Earn a Lot yet unHappy with what I do.

Old news. The world has since shifted from that spot, we're now in a new destination.
Didn't you say 'a career path one isn't passionate about is like being with someone whom you don't love'? Well, i'm happy to announce to you that love, passion or whatever else you call it now has a new meaning. Passion or love is whatever pays your bills, gives you fame and can afford you the luxury lifestyle you desire.
Things didn't just change, people have tried the old way all along but discovered it doesn't work that way.
In your relationship with your career, passion is just a third-party, there is something before it, and that is the end result.
The end result here is the pay and the appreciation the world accord you for what you do or the impact you made or the feats you achieved for mankind. Passion or whatever you call it, is only there to make the whole process more fun and profound.
Get this, you're in a career to make ends meet not just for fun. Career isn't a game you play for the fun.

Hello ma'am, I used to have similar logic to yours but now I've discovered that its more important to be passionate about whatsoever you are doing than to be endlessly searching for a (sometimes nonexistent) career path/job/etc that one has passion for.

Waiting for a passion has made a lot of people lazy, entitled 'slobs' (whatever that means).

Anybody can learn to program, anybody can learn to be analytical. Passion is whatever useful work you have to do to get results. Passion is not really about emotions, it is simply activity.

I mean be Passionate about what you do. Exceot You're passionate about what You do, I don't think you ever would improve on it.

A person who is a teacher today just because He / She couldn't find another kinda Job may never be better Except they focus on it else they keep moving from One Job to another.

It's like Pushing a Car 2-inches, you complain it's too heavy and move on to another Car which You still leave for another Car after pushing it 3-inches. Now imagine focusing all that energy on just 1-Car, you would have pushed it 2+3+5+... inches.

So when I say Passion, it doesn't always have to be your initial Hobby. I personally can never be Good as a Musician no matter how Lucrative it might be OR how hard I try.

Some people waste Time Moving from One Job / Business to another rather than Picking Up One, Focusing on it and ...

I'd like to work in this field because I've heard that IT specialists earn a lot. So, I've read several threads about programming on Reddit and realized that mastering programming languages is not as easy as I thought. Yet, it seems that IT specialists believe that the ability to program is a fundamental skill like reading, writing, and counting. After giving it some thought, I decided to study software to become a software developer. I found a softwaretesttips blog with lots of useful information for beginners. Please let me know if you can recommend some free video content on this topic. Thank you in advance, guys.

The cloud, or distributed computing, can be viewed as a center point of administrations accessible over the web quickly, on-request, and without arrangement on a specific gadget. The cloud fundamentally permits putting away PCs with applications and different administrations not on location but rather in enormous shared server farms around the world. Such server farms are overseen by outsider cloud specialist co-ops that can have either free access, free preliminaries, or pay-as-use models.

Contrasted with old inheritance frameworks, cloud foundations permit working with a PC or a server as a help and finishing similar jobs you would do on an actual gadget with a finished arrangement. The thing that matters is that you can use however many administrations as you want presently, approach every one of the applications you want in the given moment, pay just for the arrangements you are as of now utilizing, and spare yourself complex equipment and server room upkeep>> cloud migration architect consultant
